Exhibitionists is a Canadian documentary series that premiered on CBC Television on October 4, 2015.

Exhibitionists is young, daring and born of a passionate and personal connection with innovating artists across genres from diverse communities across Canada. It features provocative artists working in all mediums who are disrupting the status quo whilst celebrating their cultures. From a young poet who conquered Instagram to a daring feminist graffiti artist, Exhibitionists captures their stories. Topical, innovative and riveting, Exhibitionists is the go-to destination to discover Canada's fresh and diverse talents, and to get up close and personal with established icons. Hosted by actor, writer and educator Amanda Parris, Exhibitionists is an anthology of fast-paced short docs paired with excerpts of other CBC Arts digital series and the best arts-related content from across the CBC. Rick Shiomi is an internationally recognized, award-winning Japanese Canadian playwright, stage director, artistic director and taiko artist, and a major player in the Asian American/Canadian theatre movement. He is best known for his groundbreaking play Yellow Fever, which earned him the Bay Area Theater Circle Critics Award and “Bernie” Award. Over the last couple decades, Shiomi has also become a notable artistic and stage director. He directed the world premiere of the play Caught by Christopher Chen for which he received the Philadelphia Barrymore Award Nomination for Outstanding Direction. He is currently the Co-Artistic Director of Full Circle Theater Company.

Cathy Elliott (1957–2017) was a Mi'kmaq artist, musician, composer and playwright and member of the Sipekne'katik Mi'kmaq First Nation in Nova Scotia, Canada. She was known for working with Indigenous youth across Canada to express their culture through theatre and documentary film. She worked for several years with the DAREarts program and also wrote the first all-Indigenous musical to be offered at the Charlottetown Festival. The musical, The Talking Stick, was premiered in Prince Edward Island for the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011. Elliott was struck by a car and killed while walking alongside a road in Essa, Ontario on October 15, 2017.

She was cohost with Tom Power of the 2016 Polaris Music Prize ceremony. She writes the weekly column Black Light for CBC Arts.
