Extra Mile is the third studio album by the American country music band Shenandoah. It was released May 2, 1990 (see 1990 in country music) on Columbia Records. Their final album for the label, it produced five chart singles on the Billboard country charts. In order of release, these were "Next to You, Next to Me", "Ghost in This House", "I Got You", "The Moon Over Georgia" and "When You Were Mine". "Next to You, Next to Me" was the band's fourth Number One, and all the others except "When You Were Mine" were Top Ten hits. Extra Mile is certified gold by the RIAA.

My Kind of Country is the eighth studio album by American country music singer Reba McEntire, released October 15, 1984. It was her second studio album for MCA Records. My Kind of Country peaked at No. 13 on Billboard's Country Music Albums chart. Two tracks from the album rose to No. 1 on the Country Singles chart: "How Blue" and "Somebody Should Leave".
No Fences is the second studio album by the American country music artist Garth Brooks. It was released on August 27, 1990, and reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The album also reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200. On the latter chart, it stayed in the top 40 for 126 weeks. No Fences remains Brooks' best-selling studio album to date with 18 million copies shipped in the US, and is the album that made him an international star. It was his first album issued in Europe.
Shenandoah is an American country music band founded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, in 1984 by Marty Raybon, Ralph Ezell, Stan Thorn, Jim Seales, and Mike McGuire. Thorn and Ezell left the band in the mid-1990s, with Rocky Thacker taking over on bass guitar; Keyboardist Stan Munsey joined the line up in 1995, until his departure in 2018. The band split up in 1997 after Raybon left. Seales and McGuire reformed the band in 2000 with lead singer Brent Lamb, who was in turn replaced by Curtis Wright and then by Jimmy Yeary. Ezell rejoined in the early 2000s, and after his 2007 death, he was replaced by Mike Folsom. Raybon returned to the band in 2014. That same year, Jamie Michael replaced the retiring Jim Seales on lead guitar.
What Do I Do with Me is the 19th studio album by American country music singer Tanya Tucker, released on July 2, 1991. It was her highest-placing on the Billboard charts reaching #6 in the Country albums and #48 on the Pop albums categories. The album produced four Top Five hits on the Hot Country Songs charts: "(Without You) What Do I Do with Me" and "Down to My Last Teardrop" both at number two, "Some Kind of Trouble" at number three, and "If Your Heart Ain't Busy Tonight" at number four. The track "Everything That You Want" was later covered by Reba McEntire for her 1994 album, Read My Mind.
So Good Together is the twenty-fourth studio album by American country music singer Reba McEntire. It was released in 1999 and was preceded by the single "What Do You Say". Lonely Grill is the third studio album by American country music group Lonestar, released in the United States on June 1, 1999, by BNA Records. It reached number 28 on the Billboard 200 chart, and number three on the Top Country Albums chart. With sales of three million copies in the United States, it has been certified 3× Platinum by the RIAA. This was Lonestar's first studio album to have a crossover-friendly country-pop sound, which was a departure from their earlier neotraditional country sound. It is also their first studio album to be recorded as a four-piece as bassist and second lead vocalist John Rich left the band the previous year in 1998. Instead of replacing him with a new member, the band hired several session bassists to play the album's bass parts.

Willow in the Wind is the fifth studio album by American country music artist Kathy Mattea. It was released in 1989 on Mercury Records. The album is her highest-peaking entry on the Top Country Albums charts, where it reached number 6. It was also certified gold by the RIAA. Four singles were released from it, and all four reached Top Ten on the Billboard country singles charts. First were the back-to-back number 1 hits "Come from the Heart" and "Burnin' Old Memories", followed by the number 10 "Where've You Been" and number 2 "She Came from Fort Worth". "Where've You Been" also charted on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts, peaking at number 25 there. This song also earned her the 1990 Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance.
Love in a Small Town is the third studio album by American country music artist K. T. Oslin, released by RCA Records in 1990. "Two Hearts", "Come Next Monday", "Mary and Willie", "You Call Everybody Darling" and "Cornell Crawford" were released as singles. The album reached #5 on the Top Country Albums chart and has been certified Gold by the RIAA.

The song reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, behind Shania Twain's "Any Man of Mine". It was written by Gill and Reed Nielsen.
