Fairy Gone [lower-alpha 1] is a Japanese anime television series produced by P.A. Works that aired from April to December 2019.
In the aftermath of the War of Unification,all the nations of the continent of Eastald are forcefully united under a single ruler. During the war,special soldiers were implanted with Fairy organs,allowing them to summon powerful Fairies to fight under their command. These soldiers were dubbed "Fairy Soldiers" and used by all sides. However,nine years after the end of the war,conflict still remains as rogue Fairy Soldiers and criminals take advantage of the postwar instability. To combat this threat,the government agency "Dorothea" is formed,whose sole purpose is to combat illegal Fairy users.
One of Dorothea's newest recruits,Marlya,teams up with veteran Fairy Soldier and Dorothea operative Free in hopes of tracking down her long-lost childhood friend Veronica,who is now an illegal Fairy Soldier working for an unknown organization looking to recover an artifact dubbed the "Black Fairy Tome".
First Unit of Illegal Fairy Regulatory Agency Dorothea. A branch of the Ministry of Fairies of Zesskia,their job is to handle illegal fairy usage. They regularly enter combat against illegal Fairy Soldiers and their allies and many members are Fairy Soldiers.
Zesskia,the empire that now controls all nations within the continent of Eastald,ruled by Emperor Harol but his power is split between him,a Prime Minister,and five Dukes. Recently however,three of the five Dukes have been executed for treason against the emperor. Its capital city is Rondacia and its flag is a red crescent moon inside a golden sun whose top half is blue,bottom half is red,and has a thin white stripe down the middle.
A mafia group that specializes in buying and selling illegal antiques and valuables. They have two-thirds of the Black Fairy Tome,volumes Black Three and Black Six and seek the remaining Black Nine.

The original anime television series by P.A. Works was announced on January 24, 2019. It was directed by Kenichi Suzuki and written by Ao Jūmonji, with Haruhisa Nakata and Takako Shimizu handling character designs. Japanese musician Know-Name (stylized as [K]NoW_NAME) composed the music and performed the series' opening theme song "Knock On the Core", [12] as well as the second opening theme song "Still Standing". [13] The series aired as a split-cour, [14] [15] with the first half airing on Tokyo MX, BS11, MBS, and AT-X from April 7 to June 23, 2019, [16] while the second half aired from October 6 to December 22, 2019. [15] [17] Funimation licensed the series; the English dub premiered on April 28, 2019. [18]
Noir is a 26-episode Japanese anime television series created and written by Ryōe Tsukimura and produced by Victor Entertainment and Bee Train. The series was directed by Kōichi Mashimo, with Yoko Kikuchi, Minako Shiba and Satoko Miyachi in charge of character designs, Kenji Teraoka in charge of mechanical design, and Yuki Kajiura composing the music. Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Priestess is a 2012 Japanese animated fantasy action comedy film and the first based on the manga series Fairy Tail by Hiro Mashima. It was directed by Masaya Fujimori, and its screenplay was written by anime staff writer Masashi Sogo, while Mashima was involved as the film's story planner. Tetsuya Kakihara, Aya Hirano, Rie Kugimiya, Yuichi Nakamura, Sayaka Ōhara, Satomi Satō, and Yui Horie reprise their character roles from the anime series. The film also features Aya Endō as the titular priestess Éclair, and Mika Kanai as her birdlike companion Momon. The first film was released in Japan on August 18, 2012, and on Blu-ray and DVD in North America on December 10, 2013.
Dragonar Academy is a Japanese light novel series written by Shiki Mizuchi, illustrated by Kohada Shimesaba, and published by Media Factory under the MF Bunko J imprint. The first volume was released on June 25, 2010, with a total of 20 volumes available in Japan so far. A manga adaptation by the illustrator, Ran, began serialization in Monthly Comic Alive during its June 2011 issue. It was one of five MF Bunko J light novel anime adaptations announced at Media Factory's Summer School Festival event on July 28, 2013. It has been licensed for North America by Funimation.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is a Japanese anime television series by Wit Studio. It was broadcast for 12 episodes on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block from April to June 2016. The series was streamed on Amazon Prime Instant Video service. Two compilation films premiered in Japanese theaters in December 2016 and January 2017. Infinite Dendrogram is a Japanese light novel series written by Sakon Kaidō and illustrated by Taiki. It began serialization online in 2015 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was acquired by Hobby Japan, who published the first light novel volume in November 2016 under their HJ Bunko imprint. Twenty-one volumes have been released as of September 2023. A manga adaptation with art by Kami Imai has been serialized via Hobby Japan's Comic Fire website since December 2016. It has been collected in thirteen tankōbon volumes. Unfortunately, this P.A. Works production suffers from the same core issue that so many dark fantasy anime do: It has gotten so bogged down in encyclopedic world-building and track-laying for its needlessly meandering plot, which is total bore to watch.
