Faisla is a 1988 Hindi hit film starring Ashok Kumar, Vinod Khanna, Vinod Mehra, Saira Banu, Ranjeet, Sujit Kumar, Bindu & Mehmood. The film was directed by S. Ramanathan.
Three convicts escape from prison to avenge the rape and death of one of their daughters', and get involved in a mansion's mystery involving the death of the owner, allegedly at the hands of his son; and the accidental loss of sight by his daughter; and the cruel and heartless thugs who will kill anyone who stand in their way, including each other.

Saira Banu is an Indian actress who mainly worked in Hindi films. Regarded as one of Indian cinema's finest actresses, she was among the most popular actresses of the 1960s and early 1970s. Banu received four Filmfare Awards nominations throughout her career.
Padosan is a 1968 Indian Hindi-language musical comedy film directed by Jyoti Swaroop and produced by Mehmood, N. C. Sippy and written by Rajendra Krishan. It is a remake of the Bengali-language film Pasher Bari (1952) based on a short story of the same name by Arun Chowdhury, starring Bhanu Bandyopadhyay and Sabitri Chatterjee. The film stars Sunil Dutt and Saira Banu. Kishore Kumar, Mukri, Raj Kishore and Keshto Mukherjee played the supporting roles.
Vinod Mehra was an Indian actor in Hindi films. He started out as a child actor in the mid 1950s before starting his film career as an adult in 1971. He acted in over 100 films from the 1970s through to his death at the age of 45 in 1990. He was also the producer and director of the film Gurudev which was released 3 years after his death.

Des Pardes is a 1978 Hindi drama film, produced and directed by Dev Anand. This family drama stars Dev Anand and Tina Munim, with Ajit Khan, Pran, Amjad Khan, Shreeram Lagoo, Tom Alter, Bindu, Prem Chopra, A. K. Hangal, Sujit Kumar, Mehmood and Paintal in the supporting cast. For the first time, Dev Anand chose comparatively new music director Rajesh Roshan for this film, who did full justice to his selection as most of the songs became quite popular. The film received a Filmfare award for its sets and also received a nomination for best music director. At the time of its release, the film was an average grosser, but over the years, it has gained a cult status and is regarded as a classic.
