Saliva is an American rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1996. Saliva released their self-titled debut album in 1997 through Rockingchair Records, a label owned and operated by Mark Yoshida. The release was recorded and produced by Bill Pappas at Rockingchair Studios.
Diablo is a Finnish melodic death / groove metal band, formed in 1995 as Diablo Brothers. The band cite Testament, Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Opeth, Death and Meshuggah as influences, but influence from several Gothenburg bands such as Dark Tranquillity, Hypocrisy and In Flames is also evident in their music. Their fourth album, Mimic47, was released in January 2006 and reached No. 1 on the Finnish music charts. In May 2008, Diablo released their fifth studio album, Icaros, which reached No. 2 on the Finnish music charts. Their sixth album, Silvër Horizon, was released in 2015.
Joseph Scott Sappington is an American musician, best known as the former lead vocalist of the rock band Saliva. In addition to Saliva, Scott co-wrote and performed "Hero" with Chad Kroeger of Nickelback.

Under Your Skin is the seventh studio album by American rock band Saliva, released on March 22, 2011. It is the final album to feature singer Josey Scott, who left the band in 2012. The song was written by Don Diablo, who also produced it, and Example. It includes remixes by Noisia, A1 Bassline, Spor, Doorly and Don himself. It is the vocal version of Diablo's 2008 instrumental track "Hooligans Never Surrender", a single from his album Life Is a Festival. "Hooligans" marks one of Example's first moves away from the underground rap scene toward a more mainstream audience as it was his first major label release. Gleave signed to Data Records after the folding of The Streets' label The Beats. Although an independent single release, a VIP mix of the song, featuring additional production from DJ Wire's remix, was included in Example's second studio album, Won't Go Quietly.

American singer Huey Dunbar recorded "A Cambio de Que" on his debut studio album Yo Si Me Enamoré (2001). This version peaked at number 16 on the Tropical Songs chart. Mexican duranguense band Alacranes Musical covered the song on the album of the same name in 2004 which reached number 25 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart.
