Farm to Market Road 1171 (FM 1171) is a farm to market road in Denton County, Texas. [1]
FM 1171 begins at I-35W in Northlake. [2] In Flower Mound, the road is known as Cross Timbers Road, and it has a junction with US 377. It serves as a major arterial for eastern Flower Mound and Lewisville, where it is known as that city's Main Street. [3] FM 1171 continues through central Lewisville before the designation ends at I-35E; Main Street continues into eastern Lewisville as a four-lane road, which was formerly part of the 1171 designation but was later removed. [1]
FM 1171 was first designated on March 30, 1949 from proposed US 77 west 5.3 miles (8.5 km) to a county road; at that time, the Lewisville area was undeveloped, and current alignment of US 77 (now superseded by the Interstate 35E freeway) had yet to be constructed. On June 30, 1955, Loop 187 was combined with the route, extending it eastward to the original route of SH 121 through eastern Lewisville. [4] FM 1171 was extended westward through Lewisville to US 377 on June 28, 1963, and then to the Interstate 35W freeway on November 5, 1971. [1]
A spur route of FM 1171 existed from August 1, 1963 to May 30, 1990; it connected with mainline FM 1171 east of I-35E and traveled south along Mill Street to an intersection with SH 121. This mileage was transferred to FM 3504, which had been cancelled on June 28, 2012 at the request of the city of Lewisville. [1]
On June 27, 1995, the designation of the section east of US 377 to SH 121 was transferred to Urban Road 1171 (UR 1171). On December 18, 2003, the eastern portion, from I-35E to the former route of SH 121 (now Business SH 121), was removed from the state highway system at the request of the City of Lewisville. [5] The designation of the extant section reverted to FM 1171 with the elimination of the Urban Road system on November 15, 2018. [6]
Due to growth in Denton County, TxDOT is planning a 3.5 mile western extension of FM1171, starting at Farm to Market Road 156 near Justin and ending at the current I-35W western terminus of the existing road. [7] The planned extension would be six lanes at each end and four lanes in the middle.

State Highway 125 (SH 125) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Texas maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The 28-mile (45 km) highway begins at the New Mexico state line southwest of Bledsoe, and passes through Bledsoe where it turns east intersecting SH 214 before terminating at SH 114. The highway is located entirely within Cochran County, and is numerically continuous with New Mexico State Road 125 which it meets at the state line and connects the highway to Tatum, NM. The highway has brief concurrencies with SH 214 in Lehman and Farm to Market Road 1780 in Whiteface.

Farm to Market Road 170 is a 114.6-mile (184.4 km) highway maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in Presidio and Brewster counties in Texas. The route, known locally as the River Road, runs along the United States side of the Rio Grande which in Texas forms the international boundary between the U.S. and Mexico. The road runs from Candelaria through the city of Presidio as well as several smaller communities and former settlements to State Highway 118 in Study Butte near Big Bend National Park. The road also passes through the southern portion of Big Bend Ranch State Park.

The highway passes through the commercial center of Keller and Southlake, and helps connect residents of the area to businesses and major highways. The highway was designated in the early 1950s and extended in the mid-1980s. In 1995, FM 1709 was internally redesignated Urban Road 1709 (UR 1709) by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
Farm to Market Road 1938 (FM 1938) is a Farm to Market Road in the US state of Texas. The highway runs from State Highway 26 (SH 26) to FM 1709, in Tarrant County. While located in Westlake, FM 1938 is named Precinct Line Road. While located in Southlake, from the northern border of Southlake to its junction with FM 1709, FM 1938 is named Randol Mill Avenue, and from the FM 1709 intersection to its southern terminus, the highway is named Davis Boulevard. FM 1938 was designated in 1952, in Hockley County, but was cancelled and redesignated in 1955, at its modern location in Tarrant County. In 1995, the entire route of FM 1938 was redesignated as Urban Road 1938 by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). FM 1938 passes through central North Richland Hills and Southlake, providing access to several businesses. As of 2012, FM 1938 is in the process of being extended from an intersection with FM 1709 to the north frontage road of SH 114.

The 45-mile (72 km) road begins at a junction with Interstate 10 (I-10) and U.S. Highway 67 (US 67) in Pecos County west of Fort Stockton and extends northward through the town of Coyanosa before ending at State Highway 18 (SH 18) in Ward County south of Monahans. The road has an interchange with US 285 northeast of Fort Stockton.
