Farm to Market Road 1750 (FM 1750) is a farm to market road located primarily in Taylor County, Texas. [1]

Route description

FM 1750 begins at SH 36; this intersection is actually located in Callahan County. [2] The route travels to the west and quickly enters Taylor County, passing Potosi before turning north and into Abilene. [3] It crosses the Loop 322 freeway west of Abilene Regional Airport and passes to the west of Lytle Lake before ending at another intersection with SH 36. [1]

History

FM 1750 was first designated on May 23, 1951; the original route was a section southward 6.1 miles (9.8 km) from SH 36 in Abilene, but it was extended through Potosi and to another connection with SH 36 on December 17, 1952, adding 6.2 miles (10.0 km). [1] On June 27, 1995, the northern section between FM 707 to SH 36 in Abilene was internally redesignated as Urban Road 1750 (UR 1750), but was redesignated back to FM 1750 on November 15, 2018. [4]

Farm to Market Road 1938 (FM 1938) is a Farm to Market Road in the US state of Texas. The highway runs from State Highway 26 (SH 26) to FM 1709, in Tarrant County. While located in Westlake, FM 1938 is named Precinct Line Road. While located in Southlake, from the northern border of Southlake to its junction with FM 1709, FM 1938 is named Randol Mill Avenue, and from the FM 1709 intersection to its southern terminus, the highway is named Davis Boulevard. FM 1938 was designated in 1952, in Hockley County, but was cancelled and redesignated in 1955, at its modern location in Tarrant County. In 1995, the entire route of FM 1938 was redesignated as Urban Road 1938 by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). FM 1938 passes through central North Richland Hills and Southlake, providing access to several businesses. As of 2012, FM 1938 is in the process of being extended from an intersection with FM 1709 to the north frontage road of SH 114.

Farm to Market Road 157 is a Farm to Market Road in the US state of Texas, traveling from an exit on Texas State Highway 121 south, through Euless, Bedford, Fort Worth, and Arlington in Tarrant County, then enters Johnson County, and passes through Mansfield, and Venus, before entering Ellis County, and terminating at an intersection with Farm to Market Road 66 in Maypearl. While located in Euless and Bedford, FM 157 is known as Industrial Boulevard, while in Fort Worth, it is known as Collins Street. In Arlington, the route continues on North Collins, Division, and South Cooper Streets. In Mansfield, the road is known as Main Street and Lone Star Road; in Venus as Main, 8th & 7th Streets; and in Maypearl as Highway 157. The highway passes directly through the center of Euless and Bedford, passing large neighborhoods and businesses. The route passes a large wetland before passing directly through downtown Arlington, passing major attractions such as AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field. The route passes through the center of the University of Texas at Arlington, and continues through downtown and southern Arlington, before entering Mansfield. The route continues through central Mansfield, and south to Maypearl. The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) designated the route in 1945, and redesignated the portion traveling from SH 121 to US Bus. 287 as Urban Road 157 from 1995 until 2018.

Farm to Market Road 1053 (FM 1053) is a Farm to Market Road in the U.S. state of Texas maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The road, located in Pecos, Crane, and Ector counties, begins along the concurrent routes of Business Interstate 10-G, U.S. Route 285 (US 285), and U.S. Route 385 (US 385) in the city of Fort Stockton and continues to the north ending at Interstate 20 (I-20) near Penwell. The road passes through the towns of Imperial, where it intersects FM 11, and Tubbs Corner, where it crosses State Highway 329 (SH 329). The road also has major intersections with I-10 / US 67 in Fort Stockton as well as FM 1450 and FM 1233.
