Farmway LRT station (SW2) is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on the Sengkang LRT line West Loop in Anchorvale, Sengkang, Singapore, located near Sengkang Riverside Park at Anchorvale Street near the junctions of Anchorvale Crescent and Anchorvale Road. It opened for passenger service on 15 November 2007 to facilitate the completion of Sengkang Sports Centre and Anchorvale Community Club within the vicinity. [1]
Reminiscent of its history as a farming area, Farmway formed part of old road names in the area, such as Punggol Farmways 1 and 2, Cheng Lim Farmways 1 to 6, Buangkok North Farmways 1 to 4 and Buangkok South Farmways 1 to 5.
The North East Line (NEL) is a high-capacity Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Singapore. Operated by SBS Transit, the 20-kilometre (12 mi) line is the MRT's shortest. Anchorvale is a neighbourhood of Sengkang New Town in Singapore between Sungei Punggol and Compassvale. House numbers of its public apartment blocks begin with the number '3' (3xx). These housing estates were fully completed by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) in 2001.
Compassvale is a neighbourhood of Sengkang New Town, and is located between Rivervale and Anchorvale. Compassvale encompasses the Sengkang Town Centre.
Sengkang is a planning area and residential town located in the North-East Region of Singapore. The town is the second most populous in the region, being home to 249,370 residents in 2020. Sengkang shares boundaries with Seletar and Punggol in the north, Pasir Ris and Paya Lebar in the east, Hougang and Serangoon to the south, as well as Yishun and Ang Mo Kio to the west.
Compassvale LRT station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on the Sengkang LRT line East Loop in Compassvale, Sengkang, Singapore, located at Compassvale Street between the junctions of Compassvale Crescent, Compassvale Road and Punggol Road.
Cheng Lim LRT station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on the Sengkang LRT line West Loop in Anchorvale, Sengkang, Singapore, located at Anchorvale Street between the junctions of Anchorvale Crescent and Sengkang East Road. It was initially not opened for passenger service since the beginning of operations of West Loop on 29 January 2005 due to little development in the area. The station was thus opened on 1 January 2013. The station is built next to Sengkang Community Hospital, which opened on 28 August 2018. The hospital is connected to the station via a linkway.
Fernvale LRT station (SW5) is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on the Sengkang LRT line West Loop in Fernvale, Sengkang, Singapore, next to The Seletar Mall near the junction of Fernvale Road and Sengkang West Avenue. It was opened on 29 January 2005 together with the Punggol LRT East Loop. Like Dover MRT station on the East West line, this station is one of few above ground stations that has two opposing side platforms. This station has a similar design to Sam Kee LRT station as it is not built on a road median. A major mall beside the station, The Seletar Mall, opened its doors to the public on 28 November 2014.
Tongkang LRT station (SW7) is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on the Sengkang LRT line West Loop in Anchorvale, Sengkang, Singapore, located at Sengkang East Avenue near the junction of Anchorvale Road. It was opened on 29 January 2005 together with the Punggol LRT East Loop.
Renjong LRT station (SW8) is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on the Sengkang LRT line West Loop in Anchorvale, Sengkang, Singapore, located at Sengkang East Avenue near the junction of Sengkang East Road. It was opened on 29 January 2005 together with the Punggol LRT East Loop.
Buangkok is a neighbourhood located in north eastern Singapore. Whilst its boundaries are vague, the neighbourhood is roughly spread across the Trafalgar and Compassvale subzones of the Hougang and Sengkang Planning Areas respectively, as designated by the URA.
Sengkang Sports Centre, formerly known as Sengkang Sports and Recreation Centre, is a sports complex in Anchorvale of Sengkang New Town, Singapore, near Farmway LRT station. It was scheduled to open in end 2007, but its inauguration was delayed until mid-late 2008.
Punggol MRT/LRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) interchange station in Punggol, Singapore. It is an interchange station between the North East line (NEL) and Punggol LRT (PGLRT), and the only MRT station located within Punggol planning area. Stretching across Punggol Central, the station is situated next to Punggol Temporary Bus Interchange and the retail development of Waterway Point.

Sengkang Riverside Park is a riverine park located at Anchorvale Street and Fernvale Street abutting Sungei Punggol, Singapore. The park consist of three open-space land parcels and is also home to a constructed wetland. The Sengkang Sports Centre is located just adjacent to the riverine park, connected by a floating wetland.
The Sengkang Group Representation Constituency is a four-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in the north-eastern region of Singapore. The GRC consists of four divisions: Anchorvale, Rivervale, Buangkok, and Compassvale; Compassvale was subsumed into the other three following the resignation of its MP, Raeesah Khan. The current Members of Parliament are He Ting Ru, Jamus Lim and Louis Chua from the Workers' Party (WP).
