Feiyr is a digital music distribution service founded in 2005. [2]

Feiyr offers bands, musicians, record labels and Djs [3] the ability to sell their music through the main international digital retailers. Feiyr functions as an interface between rights owners / labels and digital retailers (Download, Streaming), e.g. iTunes, Musicload, Amazon, Napster, Djshop, eMusic, Vodafone. [4] Feiyr offers non-exclusive deals to musicians and labels who retain full rights to their music.

History

Feiyr was launched in 2005 by leading European dance distribution company, [5] Djshop. Djshop founder Armin Wirth claims the service was launched "as a direct answer to the needs expressed by artists to sell and promote their music whilst retaining complete control of their own release." [6] Feiyr is the only service worldwide to have a distribution deal with the Big Four record companies to sell their music to some independent dance stores. [7]

Djshop Records is a German-based online dance music retail store, selling vinyl records, CDs, music downloads and music accessories, founded by Armin Wirth. The website was created in 1993. In 1998 the site changed into the European commercial franchise store Djshop, with locations in Poland, Vienna, Switzerland, Netherlands and the UK. During the e-commerce boom of the late 1990s, the site differentiated itself from other dance music stores by maintaining a text-based presentation.

TY.O is the third studio album by British record producer and recording artist Taio Cruz which features special guest appearances from Flo Rida, Pitbull, David Guetta and Ludacris. Taking a more electronic music sound than his previous releases, TY.O was released in December 2011 by Universal Island Records but for reasons unknown to Cruz, its British and American release were held off. Instead, a year after its original release, an extended play (EP) version of the album titled The Fast Hits was released in the UK on 16 December 2012.
