Felt is an American hip hop duo, consisting of Slug of Atmosphere and Murs of Living Legends.

History

Slug and Murs first met at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. [1] Subsequently, the two started making music together and formed Felt. [1]

Felt released the debut studio album, Felt: A Tribute to Christina Ricci , in 2002. [2] It was produced by Murs' fellow Living Legends member The Grouch. [2]

In 2005, the duo released the second studio album, Felt 2: A Tribute to Lisa Bonet . [3] It was produced by Ant of Atmosphere. [4]

In 2009, the duo released the third studio album, Felt 3: A Tribute to Rosie Perez . [5] It was produced by Aesop Rock. [6]

In 2020, Felt returned with a single, "Name in Ya Mouth". [7] In that year, the duo released the fourth studio album, Felt 4 U. [8] Produced by Ant, the album featured guest appearances from Blimes, Aesop Rock, The Grouch, and Shepard Albertson. [9]

In 1995, Slug, in collaboration with Anthony Davis, Musab Saad, and Brent Sayers founded the Minneapolis-based independent hip hop record label Rhymesayers Entertainment.

<i>Whenever</i> (Atmosphere album) 2019 studio album by Atmosphere

Whenever is the tenth studio album by American hip hop duo Atmosphere. It was surprise released via Rhymesayers Entertainment on December 13, 2019. On November 8, 2019, the first single, "Bde Maka Ska", was released. Its videoclip, directed by Tomas Askamit, was shot in the location of the eponymous Bde Maka Ska lake in Minneapolis.
