The album was included on Pitchfork 's "20 Best Experimental Albums of 2016" list. [1] It was also placed at number 18 on Rolling Stone 's "20 Best Avant Albums of 2016" list, [6] number 3 on The Wire 's "Top 50 Releases of 2016" list, [7] and number 2 on Bandcamp Daily 's "Best Albums of 2016" list. [8]

The song "Creation Myth" was placed at number 88 on Spin 's "101 Best Songs of 2016" list. [9] The song "Deadbeat Protest" was placed at number 98 on Pitchfork's "100 Best Songs of 2016" list, [10] as well as number 24 on Noisey 's "100 Best Songs of 2016" list. [11]

His songs "BTSTU" and "Jasmine" have been influential on underground as well as mainstream pop music in the 2010s. After the release of these two singles, Paul did not release any new music for seven years, though a collection of his music was leaked in 2013. During this hiatus, Paul formed a music collective with his brother, A. K. Paul. Paul returned from his hiatus in 2019 with the official release of his previously leaked demo album, entitled Leak 04-13 and a new double single.

Courtney Barnett Australian singer-songwriter and rock guitarist

Courtney Melba Barnett is an Australian singer, songwriter, and musician. Known for her deadpan singing style and witty, rambling lyrics, she attracted attention with the release of her debut EP, I've Got a Friend Called Emily Ferris. International interest came with the release of The Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas in October 2013.

Billy Woods is an American rapper based in New York. He is also the founder of the record label Backwoodz Studioz. Woods has been a member of Armand Hammer, Super Chron Flight Brothers, and The Reavers.

Kelly Moran is an American composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn. Her music spans classical, electronic, minimalist, jazz, impressionist, and metal genres. In many of her compositions, Moran utilizes electronic musical techniques in combination with the John Cage-pioneered technique of the prepared piano. Moran signed with Warp Records in September 2018.

100 Gecs is an American musical duo consisting of Dylan Brady and Laura Les. They each grew up in suburban St. Louis and met in high school before starting to collaborate in 2015. They released their debut studio album 1000 Gecs in 2019 to critical acclaim, followed by a "companion" remix album, 1000 Gecs and the Tree of Clues, in July 2020. Their music has been noted for its often chaotic mixture of various genres and styles.
