Fidelis C. Obikwu (born 12 June 1960), is a male former athlete who competed for England.

Biography

Obikwu was studying at North Carolina University in 1982 [1] and became the British decathlon champion after winning the British AAA Championships title at the 1982 AAA Championships in Birmingham. [2] Shortly afterwards he represented England and won a bronze medal in the decathlon, at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, Australia. [3] [4]

He won the Atlantic Coast Conference decathlon titles in 1982 and 1984 [5] and finished second behind Greg Richards in the decathlon event at the 1986 AAA Championships in Wrexham. [6]
