The 1982 AAA Championships (sponsored by Robinsons Barley Water) was the 1982 edition of the annual outdoor track and field competition organised by the Amateur Athletic Association (AAA). It was held from 24 to 25 July 1982 at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London, England. [1] [2]
The Championships covered two days of competition. The marathon was held in Gateshead and the decathlon was held in Birmingham.

Albert George Hill was a British track and field athlete. He competed at the 1920 Olympics and won gold medals in the 800 m and 1500 m and a silver medal in the 3000 m team race.
Ernest James Webb was a British athlete who competed mainly in the 10-mile walk and competed for Great Britain in the 1908 Summer Olympics held in London and the 1912 Summer Olympics in Sweden.
Gerard Rupert Laurie Anderson, universally known as "Twiggy", was a British hurdler who participated in the 1912 Stockholm Olympics and held the world record for the 440-yards hurdles.
