Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix

The Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix, formerly known as Aviva Indoor Grand Prix, is an annual indoor track and field competition which is held in mid-February at the Arena Birmingham in Birmingham, England. It is one of a handful of events to hold IAAF Indoor Permit Meetings status. As one of the later major meetings of the indoor athletics season, it often serves as preparation for the biennial European Athletics Indoor Championships and IAAF World Indoor Championships. The meeting is directed by former athlete Ian Stewart and attracts numerous high calibre athletes including World and Olympic medallists.

Holly Bradshaw British pole vaulter

Holly Bethan Bradshaw is a British track and field athlete who specialises in the pole vault. She is the current British record holder in the event indoors and outdoors, with clearances of 4.87 metres and 4.90 metres. Bradshaw won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She also won bronze at the 2012 World Indoor Championships, gold at the 2013 European Indoor Championships, bronze at the 2018 European Championships, and silver at the 2019 European Indoor Championships. She also won at the 2018 Athletics World Cup. Coached by Scott Simpson, she has been consistently ranked among the world's best and has been ranked in the world top ten on the Track and Field News merit rankings four times.

Richard Kilty British sprinter (born 1989)

Richard Kilty is a British sprinter who competes in the 60 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres. A noted fast starter, and considered a specialist in both 60 metres and relays, he is a former World and double European Champion indoors at 60 metres, and a silver medalist in both the World Athletics Championships and the Olympic Games as a relay runner.

Laura Muir Scottish middle-distance runner

Laura Muir is a Scottish middle- and long-distance runner. 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships International athletics championship event

The 17th IAAF World Indoor Championships was held from 1 to 4 March 2018 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. This was the city's second hosting of the event as it previously did so in 2003.

Luke Cutts British pole vaulter

Luke Cutts is a British pole vaulter. His personal best of 5.83 m set in 2014 is the British indoor record for the event. His outdoor best of 5.70 m puts him third on the all-time British lists.

Christian Coleman American sprinter

Christian Coleman is an American professional track and field sprinter who competes in the 100 metres and 200 metres. He is the current world champion in the 100 meters. He was a double medallist at the World Championships in Athletics in 2017, winning silver medals in both the 100 m and 4 × 100-meter relay. He holds personal records of 9.76 seconds for the 100 m and 19.85 for the 200 m, and is also the world indoor record holder for the 60 metres with 6.34 seconds. He was IAAF Diamond League champion in 2018 and the world number one ranked runner in the 100 m for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

The 2019 IAAF World Indoor Tour was the fourth edition of the IAAF World Indoor Tour, the highest series of international track and field indoor meetings. 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships International athletics championship event

The 35th European Athletics Indoor Championships was held between 1 and 3 March 2019 at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland. This was the second time this event was held in the city after the 1990 edition and the third time it was held in the United Kingdom, following the 2007 Edition in Birmingham, England. The three-day competition featured 13 men's and 13 women's athletics events and took place over three morning and three afternoon sessions.

The 19th World Athletics Indoor Championships is scheduled to be held from 17 to 19 March 2023 in Nanjing, People's Republic of China at the newly built Nanjing's Cube gymnasium at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park. The 2019 British Indoor Athletics Championships was the national indoor track and field competition for British athletes, held on 9 and 10 February 2019 at the Arena Birmingham in Birmingham, England. The event served as the team trials for the 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships.

Yasmin Miller British track and field athlete (born 1995)

Yasmin Miller is a British track and field athlete who has competed in sprint and hurdles events. She competed in the 100 metres hurdles for Great Britain at the age of 16 at the 2011 World Youth Championships in Athletics. She won the same event at that year's Commonwealth Youth Games and was also a member of the winning 4 × 100 metres relay team. She repeated the latter success in the 2013 European Athletics Junior Championships. Miller has enjoyed some success at national-level hurdling, winning two bronze, a silver and gold in the 60 metres hurdles at the British Indoor Athletics Championships and a silver and a bronze in the 100 m hurdles at the British Athletics Championships.
