Alexisonfire is a Canadian post-hardcore band formed in St. Catharines, Ontario in 2001. The band's members are George Pettit (vocals), Dallas Green, Wade MacNeil, Chris Steele (bass) and Jordan Hastings. The band has won numerous awards, and in Canada their albums have all been certified either gold or platinum.
Benn Lee Jordan is an American modern jazz and electronic musician operating under many pseudonyms. Since 1999, his most widely distributed electronic music has been released under the name of The Flashbulb. Other names Jordan has released as are Acidwolf, Human Action Network, and FlexE.
Frederick Dierks Bentley is an American country music singer and songwriter. In 2003, he signed to Capitol Nashville and released his eponymous debut album. Both it and its follow-up, 2005's Modern Day Drifter, are certified platinum in the United States. A third album, 2006's Long Trip Alone, is certified gold. It was followed in mid-2008 by a greatest hits package. His fourth album, Feel That Fire was released in February 2009. A bluegrass album, Up on the Ridge, was released on June 8, 2010; a sixth album, Home, followed in February 2012, as did a seventh one, Riser, in 2014. Bentley's eighth album, entitled Black, was released in May 2016. His most recent release, a compilation EP titled Make My World Go Black, was released in 2021.
Andrew Wegman Bird is an American indie rock multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. Since 1996, he has released 16 studio albums, as well as several live albums and EPs, spanning various genres including swing music, indie rock, and folk music. He is primarily known for his unique style of violin playing, accompanied by loop and effect pedals, whistling, and voice. In the 1990s, he sang and played violin in several jazz ensembles, including Squirrel Nut Zippers and Kevin O'Donnell's Quality Six. He went on to start his own swing ensemble, Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire, which released three albums between 1998 and 2001. Weather Systems (2003) was his first solo album after Bowl of Fire disbandment, and it marked a departure from jazz music into indie music. Bird's 2019 album My Finest Work Yet was nominated for "Best Folk Album" at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
Benz & MD was a duo of Canadian electronic music DJs and producers Greg Benz and Marco Di Carlo, both graduates of the well-known BealArts program at London, Ontario's H. B. Beal Secondary School. They began recording together in 2003, releasing singles mainly on Aurium Recordings and Release Records, plus Silver Planet, and Baroque Records ("Underoath"). Their 2004 track "Release Time" was recorded by Flash Brothers. "Sound 64" was recorded in collaboration with Ebrius and released by Aurium Recordings. The pair released a 12" vinyl with two versions of "Snowblind".
I Like Trains is an English alternative/post-rock band, formed in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. They draw their inspiration from historical failings and a pessimistic world view.
Loscil is the electronic/ambient music project of Scott Morgan from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Morgan launched the project in Vancouver in 1998 while a member of the multimedia collective Multiplex, which curated audiovisual events at an underground cinema called The Blinding Light. The name Loscil is taken from the "looping oscillator" function (loscil) in Csound.
Redjetson was a UK-based post-rock band. In 2002, they released a self-titled single on Steinbeck Records. They followed this up with a second release in 2003, again on Steinbeck Records. During 2004, the band toured extensively including a tour with Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies, whom they released a split 12" with on the Drowned In Sound Recordings Label. In January 2005, they released the album New General Catalogue on Drowned in Sound Recordings. The album collected the two songs from the previous split 12" along with a further nine songs including re-recordings of songs featured on their first two releases. They followed the album with a single of "This, Every Day, For The Rest Of Your Life". This also included making a music video. The band finished off 2005 by supporting Bloc Party at Brixton Academy and ¡Forward, Russia! on several dates around the UK.

American pop rock band Maroon 5 has released seven studio albums, three live albums, two compilation albums, one remix album, six extended plays (EPs), 33 singles, seven promotional singles, and 38 music videos. The group originally formed in 1994 as Kara's Flowers while they were still attending high school. With a line-up of Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick, they released their independent album, We Like Digging? in 1995. In 1997, they signed to Reprise Records and released an album, The Fourth World. After a tepid response to the album, the band parted with their record label and attended college. In 2001, the band regrouped and added James Valentine to the lineup, and pursued a new direction under the name Maroon 5.
Bombay Bicycle Club are an English indie rock band from Crouch End, London, consisting of Jack Steadman, Jamie MacColl, Suren de Saram, and Ed Nash. They are guitar-fronted and have experimented with different genres, including folk, electronica, world music and indie rock.

Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, better known by his stage name Black Coffee, is a South African DJ, record producer and songwriter. Coffee established his own record label Soulistic Music, released debut self-titled album Black Coffee (2005), which incorporated elements of R&B and jazz.
Ash Winston Riser, also known by his former stage name Ashtrobot, was an American recording artist and music producer from Los Angeles, California. He embarked on his music career when he was 15 years old, forming a rock band called Pistol Pistol. Due to differences between members, the band broke up in 2009 and Riser subsequently began to put his focus on music production, fusing electronic and hip hop music, among other genres. Riser later began working with longtime friend, Derek Ali of Top Dawg Entertainment, who introduced him to West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar, with whom he began heavily collaborating. Riser then signed a record deal with Israeli music producer Borgore's record label, Buygore and also had a production deal with Chest Rockwell Entertainment. During his life, Riser had played multiple sold-out shows with fellow label-mates and musicians such as ETC! ETC!, Kennedy Jones, Ookay, Protohype and Dirtyphonics. In 2016, Riser received a Grammy Award for his contributions on Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly.

Percy are an English post-punk band from York, England. The band is known for having drummer Hugh Whitaker, as a member of the band from 1997 to 2004, and for their single "Donny Rednecks", which featured in Steve Lamacq's 'Single of the Week' column in Melody Maker in 1999.
