Filip Tadeusz Grzegorzewski is a Polish and European diplomat,from 2019 to 2024 he served as Head of the European Economic and Trade Office in Taiwan. He specialises in Asia,and held key positions in both his national diplomatic service and that of the European Union.
Filip Grzegorzewski graduated from the Polish Diplomatic Academy and the University of Warsaw with a specialisation in Chinese studies and international relations. He also studied at Nanjing Normal University in China and at Hanoi University in Vietnam.
Grzegorzewski was Political Counsellor at the European Union Delegation to China and Mongolia between 2008-2011. This came after he served as COASI Representative at the Permanent Representation of Poland to the European Union (2005-2008).
From 2013 to mid-2015 he was Director General of Asia-Pacific Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. He also acted as ASEM Senior Official,and National Coordinator of the Central and Eastern Europe - China cooperation (16+1). Between 2011 and 2013 he was Head of the Policy Unit and Deputy Chief of Staff in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
From 2015 until 2019,Grzegorzewski was Chair of the Council Working Group on Asia-Oceania (COASI). The group brings together delegates from each EU member state Ministry of Foreign Affairs and meets weekly to prepare the decisions of the Council of the European Union on all matters pertaining to the two continents.
He was appointed the Head of the European Economic and Trade Office on 1 September 2019. He ended his mission in August 2024. [1] Next,he became head of information integrity (and countering foreign information manipulation and interference) at the European External Action Service. [2]
Kiribati is a full member of the Commonwealth,the IMF and the World Bank,and became a full member of the United Nations in 1999. Kiribati hosted the Thirty-First Pacific Islands Forum in October 2000. Kiribati has Least Developed Country Status and its interests rarely extend beyond the region. Through accession to the LoméConvention,then Cotonou Agreement,Kiribati is also a member of the African Caribbean and Pacific Group. Kiribati maintains good relations with most countries and has particularly close ties to Pacific neighbours Japan,Australia,South Korea and New Zealand. Kiribati briefly suspended its relations with France in 1995 over that country's decision to renew nuclear testing in the South Pacific.
China,officially the People's Republic of China (PRC),has full diplomatic relations with 180 out of the other 192 United Nations member states,Cook Islands,Niue and the State of Palestine. As of 2024,China has had the most diplomatic missions of any state.
South Korea maintains diplomatic relations with 191 countries. The country has also been a member of the United Nations since 1991,when it became a member state at the same time as North Korea. South Korea has also hosted major international events such as the 1988 Summer Olympics and 2002 World Cup Football Tournament and the 2011 IAAF World Championships Daegu South Korea. Furthermore,South Korea had hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics which took place in Pyeongchang from 9 to 25 February.
Foreign relations of the Republic of China (ROC),more commonly known as Taiwan,are accomplished by efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China,a cabinet-level ministry of the Government of the Republic of China. As of January 2024,the ROC has formal diplomatic relations with 11 of the 193 United Nations member states and with the Holy See,the central governing body of the Catholic Church. In addition to these relations,the ROC also maintains unofficial relations with 59 UN member states,one self-declared state (Somaliland),three territories (Guam,Hong Kong,and Macau),and the European Union via its representative offices and consulates. In 2021,the Government of the Republic of China had the 33rd largest diplomatic network in the world with 110 offices.
Ukraine has formal relations with many nations and in recent decades has been establishing diplomatic relations with an expanding circle of nations. The foreign relations of Ukraine are guided by a number of key priorities outlined in the foreign policy of Ukraine.
Uzbekistan joined the Commonwealth of Independent States in December 1991. However,it is opposed to reintegration and withdrew from the CIS collective security arrangement in 1999. Since that time,Uzbekistan has participated in the CIS peacekeeping force in Tajikistan and in United Nations-organized groups to help solve the Tajik and Afghan conflicts,both of which it sees as posing threats to its own stability. Uzbekistan is an active supporter of U.S. efforts against worldwide terrorism and joined the coalitions which have dealt with both Afghanistan and Iraq. It is a member of the United Nations,the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council,Partnership for Peace,and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). It belongs to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Economic Cooperation Organization,which comprises 7 Central Asian countries:Pakistan,Uzbekistan,Kazakhstan,Turkmenistan,Afghanistan,Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. It is a founding member of and remains involved in the Central Asian Union,formed with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan,joined in March 1998 by Tajikistan.
The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission (HR/VP) is the chief co-ordinator and representative of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) within the European Union (EU). The position is currently held by Josep Borrell Fontelles.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the Polish government department tasked with maintaining Poland's international relations and coordinating its participation in international and regional supra-national political organisations such as the European Union and United Nations. The head of the ministry holds a place in the Council of Ministers.
Relations between the European Union (EU) and the People's Republic of China (PRC) or Sino–European relations are bilateral relations that were established in 1975 between the PRC and the European Community. The EU is the PRC's largest trading partner,and the PRC is the EU's largest trade partner.

Paraguay–Taiwan relations are the bilateral relations between the Republic of Paraguay and the Republic of China (Taiwan). Both governments established diplomatic relations on 8 July 1957.
China–Lithuanian relations are the bilateral foreign relations between the People's Republic of China (China) and Lithuania. The PRC has a chargéd'affaires in Vilnius. In December 2021,Lithuania closed its embassy in Beijing.
Ingrida Šimonytė is a Lithuanian politician,public servant and economist who is serving as the 17th and current prime minister of Lithuania since 2020. She has been a Member of the Seimas for the Antakalnis constituency since 2016 and was Minister of Finance in the second Kubilius cabinet from 2009 until 2012. Šimonytėwas a candidate in the 2019 and 2024 presidential election,but lost in the second round runoff to Gitanas Nausėda both times. She has been a member of Homeland Union since 2022,having previously been an independent politician.

Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries is an initiative by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote business and investment relations between China and 14 countries of Central and Eastern Europe:Albania,Bosnia and Herzegovina,Bulgaria,Croatia,the Czech Republic,Greece,Hungary,Montenegro,North Macedonia,Poland,Romania,Serbia,Slovakia,and Slovenia. Prior to their 2022 withdrawal,Estonia,Latvia,and Lithuania were members of the initiative.
