Financial City East Station is a metro station in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. It was opened on December 18, 2020, with the opening of Line 6 and Line 9. [1] [2] [3]
The Chengdu Metro is the rapid transit system of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan, China. With the opening of Line 1 on 27 September 2010, the system consists of 12 subway lines and 1 light rail line. It has subsequently undergone rapid expansion. Since the opening of Lines 6, 8, 9, and 17 on 18 December 2020, the Chengdu Metro is the 4th longest metro system in the world.
Urban rail transit in China encompasses a broad range of urban and suburban electric passenger rail mass transit systems including subway, light rail, tram and maglev. Some classifications also include non-rail bus rapid transport. As of 31 December 2022, China has the world's longest urban rail transit system with more than 9,500 km (5,900 mi) of urban rail nationwide in 49 systems in 47 cities, accounting for 9 of the 10 longest metro systems except Moscow Metro, or metro systems in Seoul combined if metro systems in the same cities are merged in the rank.
Line 1 of the Chengdu Metro is the first line to enter revenue service on the metro network in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. The line started construction in 2005, and entered service on September 27, 2010. On July 25, 2015, an extension towards Guangdu was opened for service.

Line 10 of the Chengdu Metro runs from Taipingyuan in Wuhou to Xinping in Xinjin. Currently, the line is 37.972 km (23.6 mi) long. In 2024, the line will be 43.9 km long with the 5.9 km northeastern extension to People's Park.
Line 18 of the Chengdu Metro is an express rapid transit line that connects the urban area of Chengdu with Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. Line 18's color is teal. The Phase 1 & 2 of Line 18 is in total 69.39 km in length. It is also the biggest PPP project in China. The section from South Railway Station to Tianfu International Airport North Station started operation on 18 December 2020.
Chengdu Metro Line 9 is located in Chengdu, Sichuan and forms an extension to the existing Chengdu Metro system. The line officially opened on 18 December 2020.
Line 30 of the Chengdu Metro is a metro line currently under construction in Chengdu. Line 30's color is Light Pink. Phase 1 runs tangentially on the south side of the Chengdu from Terminal 2 of Shuangliu International Airport East to Longquan Railway Station. Phase 1 is 27.74 km long with 24 stations, all underground. Line 30 will use 6-car Type-B rolling stock operating up to 80 km/h. Line 30 will be served by two depots at Gaobeiba and Hongjiaqiao.
Line 17 of the Chengdu Metro is an express metro line in Chengdu. The whole line is 50.945 km. The line uses 8-car Type-A trains operating up to 140 km/h speed powered by 25kV AC overhead lines.
Line S3 of the Chengdu Metro, also known as Ziyang Line, is an under construction rapid transit line in Sichuan Province, China. The line is 38.7 km long and connects Futian station in Chengdu to Ziyang North railway station in Ziyang. It is expected to open in late 2024.
