The Young Finnish Party or Constitutional-Fennoman Party was a liberal and nationalist political party in the Grand Duchy of Finland. It began as an upper-class reformist movement during the 1870s and formed as a political party in 1894.
The Finnish Party was a Fennoman conservative political party in the autonomous Grand Duchy of Finland and independent Finland. Born out of Finland's language strife in the 1860s, the party sought to improve the position of the Finnish language in Finnish society. Johan Vilhelm Snellman, Yrjö Sakari Yrjö-Koskinen, and Johan Richard Danielson-Kalmari were its ideological leaders. The party's chief organ was the Suometar newspaper, later Uusi Suometar, and its members were sometimes called Suometarians (suomettarelaiset).

The Communist Party of Finland (Finnish: Suomen Kommunistinen Puolue, SKP; Swedish: Finlands kommunistiska parti, FKP) or New Communist Party of Finland (Finnish: Uusi Suomen Kommunistinen Puolue, USKP; Swedish: Finlands nya kommunistiska parti, FNKP) is a political party in Finland. It was founded in the mid-1980s as Communist Party of Finland (Unity) (Finnish: Suomen Kommunistinen Puolue (yhtenäisyys), SKPy; Swedish: Finlands kommunistiska parti (enhet), FKP(e)) by the former opposition of the old Communist Party of Finland (1918–1992). SKP has never been represented in the Finnish parliament, but the party has had local councillors in some municipalities, including the city councils of major cities such as Helsinki and Tampere. SKP claims 2,500 members.
Aino-Maija Luukkonen is the mayor of the Finnish city Pori. She stepped out of the mayor's place in July 2022 and is spending a vacation before retirement in March 2023.
The Liberal Swedish Party was a political party in Finland, working amongst the Swedish-speaking minority. The party founded in 1919 under the name of Swedish Left until the 1947. Ideologically the party preferred a republican state rather than a monarchy, which differentiated them from the majority of the Swedish People's Party, which tended to hold more conservative views. The party was represented in the Parliament of Finland by Georg Schauman, Georg von Wendt and Max Sergelius. The party was dissolved in 1951.
The Communist Party of the Karelo-Finnish SSR, initially known as the Communist Party (Bolshevik) of the Karelo-Finnish SSR, was the branch of the All-Union Communist Party/Communist Party of the Soviet Union in the Karelo-Finnish SSR (1940–1956).

The Finnish Rural Party was an agrarian and populist political party in Finland. Starting as a breakaway faction of the Agrarian League in 1959 as the Small Peasants' Party of Finland, the party was identified with the person of Veikko Vennamo, a former Agrarian League Member of Parliament known for his opposition to the politics of President Urho Kekkonen. Vennamo was chairman of the Finnish Rural Party between 1959 and 1979.
Kirjava "Puolue" – Elonkehän Puolesta was a Finnish political party founded in 1988, best known for its alliance with Pertti "Veltto" Virtanen. It was a faction of the Green movement, which is now represented by the Green League in parliament. Virtanen went on to change allegiance to the Finns Party and was re-elected for two terms in 2007 and 2011.
The Liberal Party – Freedom to Choose, formerly known as the Whisky Party, is a classical-liberal Finnish political party, founded in 2015 and admitted to the register of political parties in 2016. Lassi Kivinen was elected chairman in 2022. The party was de-registered in 2023 after failing to win seats in two consecutive parliamentary elections.
The Feminist Party is a Finnish feminist political party. It was founded in June 2016, and registered as a political party in January 2017. It calls gender equality, human rights, and human security the primary pillars of its politics.

The Party of Finnish Labor was a Finnish far-right party operating in the 1930s and 1940s, led by engineer Niilo Rauvala. The party's motto was: "Finland into a great and rich nation state". In 1940s, the organization was known as the New Finnish Party. The party was dissolved on 18 January 1945 as contrary to Article 21 of the Moscow Armistice, which forbade fascist parties.

The group's rules state that the purpose of the group's activities is "to act in parliament in the interests of Finland and Finns and to have freedom of speech in elections".
