Flipkart Video was an India-based OTT (Over the Top) video streaming platform operated by Walmart-owned Flipkart. [1] [2] It was launched in 2019, and has lined up content from partners like Voot, Arre, Viu, TVF, Pocket Aces' Dice Media and more. [3] [4] In October 2019, it announced its first original series Back Benchers , a quiz show hosted by Bollywood film producer and director Farah Khan, [5] [6] [7] which features Bollywood celebrities as students and host Farah as the dean of the figurative school. Bollywood celebrities who appeared on the show are Anil Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, [8] Kartik Aaryan, Parineeti Chopra, Ananya Pandey, Bhumi Pednekar, Tapsee Pannu, Janhvi Kapoor, Malaika Arora amongst others. Overview

Flipkart Video is a free video streaming service [10] that is available within the video section of the Flipkart app. [5] [6] Flipkart has tied up with various production houses including Studio Next and Frames and Sikhya Productions to beef up its library of original series in various languages and genres for the Flipkart users. [3] [11]

<i>Koffee with Karan</i> Indian talk show

Koffee with Karan is an Indian talk show hosted by filmmaker and television personality Karan Johar and produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital content division of Johar's production company Dharma Productions. It debuted on 19 November 2004, and has aired eight seasons over a span of eighteen years. Distributed by Disney Star, its first six seasons aired on Star World India (2004–2019). In 2022, Koffee with Karan moved to Disney+ Hotstar as a streaming exclusive under the service's content label and hub, Hotstar Specials; thereafter the succeeding seasons have aired on the platform. Also that year, Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment replaced Banijay's SOL India as the show's production company. It is the second longest-running talk show after Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan on Indian Hindi-language television, as well as one of the most-watched Indian English-language television shows. Zoya Akhtar is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Hindi cinema. Born to Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, she completed a diploma in filmmaking from NYU and assisted directors Mira Nair, Tony Gerber and Dev Benegal, before becoming an independent writer and director. Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd. is an Indian content creator, aggregator and distributor, specifically in the media and entertainment industry. She gained recognition for her roles in Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010) and Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011). Bharuccha's career progressed with starring roles in the comedies Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), and Dream Girl (2019). She has since starred in Chhorii (2021), Janhit Mein Jaari (2022) and Ram Setu (2022).

Back Benchers is an Indian celebrity quiz show hosted by film producer and director, Farah Khan. The show debuted on Flipkart Video in October 2019, featuring Anil Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty as the first guests of the show.
