The Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal was awarded between 1970 and 2011. From 1967 to 1969 and in 1971 the award included instrumental performances. The award had several minor name changes:
KC and the Sunshine Band is an American disco and funk band which was founded in 1973 in Hialeah, Florida. Their best-known songs include the hits "That's the Way ", "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty", "I'm Your Boogie Man", "Keep It Comin' Love", "Get Down Tonight", "Boogie Shoes", "Please Don't Go" and "Give It Up". The band took its name from lead vocalist Harry Wayne Casey's last name ('KC') and the 'Sunshine Band' from KC's home state of Florida, the Sunshine State. The group had six top 10 singles, five number one singles and a number two single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

B5, previously known as TNT Boyz and Audio, is an American R&B music group originating from St. Petersburg, Florida, United States, which later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. The group consists of the five Breeding family brothers, Dustin Michael, Kelly Allen, Patrick Owen, Carnell Frederick, and Bryan Jesse. They were formerly known as the TNT Boyz featuring only the four eldest brothers, but renamed themselves B5 when Bryan, the youngest brother, joined the group. From late 2009 to early 2010, they renamed themselves Audio and then returned to the name B5 on May 30, 2012. Bryan and Patrick left the group, leaving Dustin, Kelly, and Carnell to rename themselves Men in Black(MIB). After Dustin and Carnell had their own kids, they dropped out of the group leaving Kelly as a rapper and Dustin a soloist, while Carnell stopped making music to devote his time to his family.

A single released from the album, "Feel Me Flow", achieved major success, peaking at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100, two other singles "Craziest" and "Clap Yo Hands, achieved minor success, the former peaking at number 51 on the Hot 100.

Emotional is the fourth studio album by American R&B duo and brothers K-Ci & JoJo, released on November 26, 2002 on MCA Records. Recording sessions took place at K-Ci & JoJo's home in Los Angeles, California during 2002. Production was handled by JoJo and several other recording producers, including Babyface, Rodney Jerkins and Mike Smoov, including others. It produced two singles: "It's Me" and "This Very Moment", with the latter charting on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

Hearsay is the second solo studio album by American recording artist Alexander O'Neal.
