The floorball competition at the 2025 World Games will take place in Chengdu, China. Both a men's and women's tournaments will be held.

Qualification

Qualification for the floorball event of the 2025 World Games was determined through the 2024 Men's World Floorball Championships. The China as host were given an outright berth for the men's tournament. [1]

The Men's World Floorball Championship is an international floorball competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the International Floorball Federation (IFF). It is distinct from the Women's World Floorball Championship, which is for women's teams. They were preceded by the European Championships which were held twice in 1994 and 1995. Since 2008, the tournament is played in early December. Before it was taking place in May–June.

The 2010 Men's World Floorball Championships were the eighth men's Floorball World Championships. The tournament was held from 4 December to 11 December 2010 in the cities of Helsinki, and Vantaa, Finland.

The qualifying for the 2016 Men's World Floorball Championships took place between 2 and 14 February 2016. A total of 33 teams competed for fifteen spots. The final tournament was organized by Latvia in December 2016.

The qualifying for the 2018 Men's World Floorball Championships took place between 22 January and 11 February 2018. A total of 33 teams competed for sixteen spots. The final tournament was organized by Czech Republic in December 2018.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Floorball at the 2022 World Games</span>

The floorball competition at the 2022 World Games took place in July 2022, in Birmingham, United States, at the BJCC East Exhibition Hall. Originally scheduled to take place in July 2021, the Games were rescheduled for July 2022 as a result of the 2020 Summer Olympics postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2020 Men's World Floorball Championships was the 13th World Championships in men's floorball. The tournament took place in Helsinki, Finland, during 3–11 December 2021. The tournament was originally intended to be played between 4–12 December 2020, but on 7 December 2020, it was rescheduled one year into the future due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The 2024 IFF Men's World Floorball Championships qualification is a series of tournaments to decide the teams which will play in the 2024 Men's World Floorball Championships. The 2024 World Championship will once again feature 16 teams. 1 place were allocated to the hosts, Sweden. The remaining 15 places will be determined by a qualification process, in which entrants from among the other teams from the five IFF confederations will compete.

The 2025 World Games is set to take place in Chengdu, China from 7 to 17 August 2025. The qualification procedure for each sport, and those countries that qualified are as follows:
