The softball competition at the 2025 World Games took place from 6 to 17 August 2025 at the Softball Stadium within the Xindu Xiangcheng Sports Centre in Chengdu, China. ^{[1] [2]} The discipline included two events: a women's tournament, and for the first time in the games, a men's tournament as well. ^[3]

A rainout was declared cancelling the gold and bronze medal matches. The winning semifinalists were awarded gold medals while the losers were given bronze medals. ^[7]
