Florian Livadaru (born 18 November 1955) is a Romanian boxer. He competed in the men's lightweight event at the 1980 Summer Olympics. [1] He won the Romanian National Amateur Boxing Championship at the lightweight division in 1975. [2]
Leonard Dorin Doroftei is a Romanian former boxer, the WBA Lightweight World Champion from 5 January 2002 to 24 October 2003.
Howard Edward Davis Jr. was an American professional boxer. Growing up on Long Island as the eldest of 10 children, Davis first learned boxing from his father. After being inspired by a movie about Muhammad Ali, Davis embarked on his amateur career. He won the 1976 Olympic gold medal one week after his mother died. He was also awarded the Val Barker Trophy at the Olympics, beating out such boxers as Sugar Ray Leonard, Michael Spinks and Leon Spinks.
Adolfo Horta was a Cuban amateur boxer, who won the silver medal in the Men's Featherweight division at age 22 at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. He was beaten by East Germany's Rudi Fink on points (1-4). Horta won eleven consecutive national championships and three gold medals in the World Amateur Boxing Championships in different weight classes, which appears to have been a unique achievement, but he would never return to the Olympics, as Cuba boycotted the 1984 Summer Olympics.
Hocine Soltani was an Algerian boxer, who won two Olympic medals. In 1992, the southpaw placed third in the featherweight division (54–57 kg), and at the 1996 Summer Olympics he won the gold medal in the lightweight division.
Ángel Herrera Vera is a Cuban amateur boxer, who won two Olympic gold medals, and the world title at the second World Championships in Belgrade.

Costică Dafinoiu was a light-heavyweight boxer from Romania. He took up boxing in 1969, winning a bronze medal at the 1976 Olympics, a gold and a silver medals at the Romanian National Amateur Boxing Championship and won the Golden belt international tournament organized by Romania in 1974. He retired in 1981, and after receiving a degree in physical education worked as a boxing coach at his native club CS Progresul Brăila.
Simion Cuțov was a lightweight boxer from Romania who won the European amateur title in 1973 and 1975. He competed at the 1974 World Championships and 1976 and 1980 Olympics and won silver medals in 1974 and 1976. In 1974, he won a gold medal at the Balkan Games. He retired with a record of 20 losses out of 155 bouts. His elder brother Calistrat was also an Olympic boxer.

Chris Clarke is a former professional boxer from Canada, who won the Canadian and Commonwealth Welterweight championship titles and also became the Canadian Middleweight champion. As an amateur boxer, Clarke won the gold medal in the men's lightweight division at the 1975 Pan American Games. A year later he represented his native country at the 1976 Summer Olympics, where he was defeated in the second round.
Nicolae Linca was a Romanian amateur welterweight boxer. After winning bronze medals at the 1953 and 1955 European championships, he became Romania's first Olympic champion in boxing at the 1956 Summer Olympics. Fighting with a broken finger, he won against Fred Tiedt in a 3:2 split decision. Today, he remains the only Romanian boxer to win gold at the Olympics. His amateur record upon retirement was 281-25. After competing as an amateur, Linca turned to coaching in the sport. By the 1990s he was living in poverty and suffering from Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases, which led to his deaths at the age of 79. In 2005 he was awarded the Sports Merit Order of First Class.
Yasnier Toledo López is a Cuban amateur boxer from Pinar del Río who won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the PanAm lightweight title in 2011. He is a southpaw.
José Pedraza González is a Puerto Rican professional boxer and former two-weight world champion. He held the IBF super featherweight title from 2015 to 2017, and the WBO lightweight title in 2018.
Mekhak Ghazaryan, also known as Mikhail Kazaryan, is a retired amateur boxer from Armenia. He represented the Soviet Union at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea in the men's featherweight (57 kg) division. Ghazaryan was defeated in the third round by eventual gold medalist Giovanni Parisi. He represented his native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, in the men's lightweight (60 kg) division. Ghazaryan lost in the second round to Michael Strange.
Dumitru Șchiopu is a retired male boxer from Romania, who represented his native country at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Soviet Union. There he lost in the quarterfinals of the men's light flyweight division to North Korea's eventual bronze medalist Li Byong-Uk. He also won five Romanian National Amateur Boxing Championships and one Golden Belt Tournament which was held in Romania.
Pavlo Olehovych Ishchenko is an Olympic Ukrainian-Israeli boxer who competes as a bantamweight. He won the gold medal at the 2013 European Amateur Boxing Championships as a Lightweight (60 kg) for Ukraine. In 2017, boxing for Israel, he won a bronze medal at the 2017 European Amateur Boxing Championships as a Lightweight.
Percival Joseph Lewis, better known as Percy Lewis, was a Trinidad and Tobago-British amateur featherweight and professional feather/super feather/lightweight boxer of the 1950s and 60s.
Stoyan Angelov Pilichev was a Bulgarian boxer who competed in the lightweight category at the 1964 and 1968 Summer Olympics, as a member of the Bulgarian national boxing team. In the 1964 Summer Olympics he lost to Józef Grudzień from Poland in the quarter-final. In the 1968 Summer Olympics he lost to Calistrat Cuțov from Romania in the quarter-final. Pilichev represented Bulgaria in the lightweight category of the 1969 European Amateur Boxing Championships. After reaching the final, he faced Calistrat Cuțov from Romania, in a rematch of 1968 Mexico City quarter-final, and he lost on points, resulting in winning the silver medal of the division.
Viorel Ioana is a Romanian boxer. He competed in the men's lightweight event at the 1984 Summer Olympics. He lost to Renato Cornett of Australia at the 1984 Summer Olympics. Ioana also won two national senior titles and one bronze medal at the European Amateur Boxing Championships.
