"Flower" is Tomiko Van's debut single under the Avex Trax label. The single was released on June 7, 2006 in two formats.
"Flower" is former Do As Infinity lead singer Tomiko Van's debut single. Released in two versions, CD only and CD+DVD, there are two different covers for the single, though the covers have very little differences to them. The A-side song "Flower" was used as the TBS drama Oishii Proposal theme song, and a piano version of the song was used for the sound track of the drama. The B-side "Brave" was used as the ending theme song for PlayStation 2 game Sengoku Basara 2 .
Unlike most of the songs on her debut album, "Flower" is an up-tempo pop song with a feeling of summer to it. The song features guitars, an instrument that was not as prominent in her debut album, and is reminiscent of songs that she would sing during her times in Do As Infinity.

Do As Infinity is a Japanese pop and rock band that formed in 1999 with three members: vocalist Tomiko Van, guitarist Ryo Owatari, and guitarist and composer Dai Nagao. The band's name is sometimes abbreviated as DAI, alluding to the fact that Do As Infinity was named after Nagao. Signed to Avex Trax, the band released their debut single "Tangerine Dream" on September 29, 1999, followed by three more singles between 1999 and 2000, which appeared on their debut album Break of Dawn (2000). In December 2000, Nagao decided to devote all his time to composing the music and no longer appeared at live events. Five more studio albums were released between 2001 with New World and 2005 with Need Your Love.
Kaori Asada, known by her stage name Bonnie Pink, is a Japanese singer-songwriter and musician. She writes and composes all her songs, and plays guitar and piano. Asada has said that the name Bonnie Pink is random and has no special meaning; she chose it because it was easy to remember and because she thought the words were cute together. Aside from her native Japanese, she is also fluent in speaking English, Korean and Chinese.
Do the Best is a greatest hits album by the musical group Do As Infinity, released in 2002. In 2004, a combined compilation Do the Best + DVD was released. Some of the tracks in the album have minor changes, such as "Oasis" having an actual, definite ending unlike the original single where it previously had faded out instead. "Nice & Easy" was a brand new song that was included, it was also used as the theme song for a Lavenus commercial song featuring lead singer and musician, Tomiko Van. The CD+DVD version of the album is a re-release which was released in 2004 and included a DVD with numerous videos of the first thirteen tracks of the CD album.
Tomiko Van, is a Japanese pop singer and occasional actress. She is as a member of the band Do As Infinity (DAI), along with Ryo Owatari and Dai Nagao, that has resumed activities after their 2005 split.
"Nadia's Theme", originally titled "Cotton's Dream", is a piece of music composed by Barry De Vorzon and Perry Botkin Jr. in 1971. It was originally used as incidental music for the 1971 film Bless the Beasts and Children, and is better known as the theme music to the American television soap opera The Young and the Restless since the series debuted in 1973. "Cotton's Dream" was renamed "Nadia's Theme" after it became associated with Olympic gymnast Nadia Comăneci during and after the 1976 Summer Olympics.

The single made it the eighth release for her 12 Singles Collection, and, unlike the majority of the singles, was not limited to 50,000 copies. This was one of three that were not limited, the other being the first single in the collection, you, and the final single, Someday/Boys♥Girls.
"Tao" is Do As Infinity's twentieth single, released on July 27, 2005. The lyrics describe the parting of two friends. "Tao" was used as the Japanese opening song of Tales of Legendia. This was the last single released before the band disbanded in September 2005, but Do As Infinity reformed three years later, and released their twenty-first single, "∞1", in June 2009.
"Honjitsu wa Seiten Nari" (本日ハ晴天ナリ) is the sixteenth single by Do As Infinity, released in 2003. The jacket shoot was done during a-nation 2003 before fans were allowed to enter the arena where the event was held. The jackets for both the CD and CD+DVD versions include Tomiko Van and Ryo Owatari holding bubble boards as if they were talking in comic-style. This song was considered the theme song to a-nation 2003.
"Tōku Made" (遠くまで) is the eighth single by Do As Infinity, released in 2001. "Tōku Made" was the theme song to the anime movie Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and was also used during the final episode of the first series of the Japanese TV drama "Waterboys". "Signal" was the theme song to a Lavenus hair care TV commercial which starred the lead vocalist, Tomiko Van.
Farewell is Tomiko Van's first original studio album under the Avex Trax label. The album was released on March 29, 2006.
Minus V is an instrumental collection by Do As Infinity released after its disbanding. It was released among five other different Do As Infinity items on the same day. This CD consists of mostly previously unreleased instrumental versions of Do As Infinity's songs. The "V" in name of the album is speculated to be the short for Tomiko Van, the lead singer of the band, or vocal because there aren't any of Tomiko Van's vocals in the CD.
Three CD collection albums have been released for Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase in Japan. The first two releases contain the opening and ending themes, along with instrumental versions of the songs. The third release was a soundtrack, which contains theme and incidental music from the series. This album was released in both regular and limited editions.
"Senkō" is Tomiko Van's second single under the Avex Trax label. The single was released on September 27, 2006 in two formats, four months after her last single.
"Yumeji" is a pop-rock ballad by Japanese singer Tomiko Van. It is Van's third single that released on November 29, 2006. The cover jackets for the single were shot in a countryside not faraway from the city of Tokyo, and Van expressed that the covers would perfectly match the song. In the PV for the title track "Yumeji", Van follows a light through dark streets and finds a flower garden in the middle of trash. The single's B-side is entitled "Labyrinth" and is as "Yumeji" a lyric work of Van.
Cherry Girl / Unmei(運命 / Fate) is Koda Kumi's 34th single under the Rhythm Zone label. This was her last single released before the release of her 2006 album, Black Cherry. The single charted No. 2 on the Oricon charts.
Back-On is a Japanese rock band from Tokyo, Japan. They are recognized for creating anime and game opening themes such as the Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 opening theme, "fly away"; Air Gear opening theme, "Chain"; Murder Princess opening theme "Hikari Sasuhou ", and Eyeshield 21s "Blaze Line". They have also written ending themes for both anime and TV shows, including "flower" and "a day dreaming..." for Eyeshield 21, and "Butterfly" for the late-night TV drama Shinjuku Swan, "Sands of Time" for the mobile robot TV drama Keitai Sousakan 7, and "Strike Back" for the anime series Fairy Tail.

The B-side, "All of Us", is used as the first ending theme song to the anime Ginga Tetsudou Monogatari ~Eien e no Bunkiten~.
"Saisakizaka" is the debut single by Japanese actress Yōko Maki, released on May 27, 2013. The Ringo Sheena-produced song was used as the theme song to the film The Ravine of Goodbye (2013), Maki's first leading film role since Veronika Decides to Die in 2005.
