Fools Gold Lake are a set of two small freshwater lakes located on a plateau a short distance north of Big Snow Mountain, in King County, Washington. The lake can be accessed from the trail that leads to Myrtle Lake, which is West of Fools Gold Lake. Big Snow Lake is over the southern slope of the lake plateau towards Big Snow Mountain. The outflow of Fools Gold Lake joins the creeks from Marlene Lake, Moira Lake and other snow melting creeks to empty as the inflow of Lake Dorothy, which outflows as the East Fork of the Miller River.

Eastern Continental Divide Hydrological divide in eastern North America

The Eastern Continental Divide, Eastern Divide or Appalachian Divide is a hydrographic divide in eastern North America that separates the easterly Atlantic Seaboard watershed from the westerly Gulf of Mexico watershed. The divide nearly spans the United States from south of Lake Ontario through the Florida peninsula, and consists of raised terrain including the Appalachian Mountains to the north, the southern Piedmont Plateau and lowland ridges in the Atlantic Coastal Plain to the south. Water including rainfall and snowfall, lakes, streams and rivers on the eastern/southern side of the divide drains to the Atlantic Ocean; water on the western/northern side of the divide drains to the Gulf of Mexico. The ECD is one of six continental hydrographic divides of North America which define several drainage basins, each of which drains to a particular body of water.

Mount Baw Baw

The Chilcotin region of British Columbia is usually known simply as "the Chilcotin", and also in speech commonly as "the Chilcotin Country" or simply Chilcotin. It is a plateau and mountain region in British Columbia on the inland lee of the Coast Mountains on the west side of the Fraser River. Chilcotin is also the name of the river draining that region. Chilcotin Ranges

The Chilcotin Ranges are a subdivision of the Pacific Ranges of the Coast Mountains. They lie on the inland lea of the Pacific Ranges, abutting the Interior Plateau of British Columbia. Their northwestern end is near the head of the Klinaklini River and their southeast end is the Fraser River just north of Lillooet; their northern flank is the edge of the Plateau while their southern is the north bank of the Bridge River. In some reckonings they do not go all the way to the Fraser but end at the Yalakom River, which is the North Fork of the Bridge.

Tushar Mountains

The Tushar Mountains are the third highest mountain range in Utah after the Uinta Mountains and the La Sal Range. Located in the Fishlake National Forest, Delano Peak, 12,174 ft  NAVD 88, is the highest point in both Beaver and Piute counties and has a prominence of 4,689 ft. Delano Peak is named for Columbus Delano (1809–1896), Secretary of the Interior during the Grant administration. The Tushars receive an ample amount of snow annually even though they are situated within the rainshadow of the Sierra Mountain Range located in California and the Snake Range located in Nevada.

Mount Vic 3005 m (9859 ft), prominence: 712 m, is a mountain in the Chilcotin Ranges of the Central Interior of British Columbia, Canada, located east of the southernmost of the Taseko Lakes and southeast of Taseko Mountain. Adjoining its lower slopes to the northeast is the Dil-Dil Plateau, a lava plateau rising above the main Chilcotin Plateau, which extends north and northeast in general from this area, which is to the west of the headwaters of Big Creek. Mount Vic is one of the highest summits of the southern Chilcotin Ranges, which are a subrange of the Pacific Ranges subdivision of the Coast Mountains.
