He won four bronze medals in the C-1 200 m event at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, earning them in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2014. He is also a three time European champion, in Pontevedra in 2007, in Trasona in 2010 and in Montemor-o-Velho in 2013. On 12 June 2019, the IOC stripped Jevgenij Shuklin of his silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Beatriz Gomes is a Portuguese sprint canoer and marathon canoeist who has competed since the late first decade of the 21st century. She won a bronze medal in the K-4 200 m event at the 2009 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Dartmouth. She was World Champion in the K1 Marathon event in 2009.

Jorge Antonio García Rodríguez is a Cuban sprint canoer who competed in the late 2000s. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he was eliminated in the semifinals of both the K-1 500 m and the K-1 1000 m events. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he competed in the K-1 1000 m, winning the B-final. At the 2016 Olympics, he competed with Reinier Torres in the men's K-2 1000 m.
Kasper Bleibach is a Danish sprint canoer who competed in the late 2000s. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he was eliminated in the semifinals of the K-1 500 m event. In 2008 he also won the K1 500m at Canoe Sprint European Championships. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he was eliminated in the semi-finals of the K-1 200 m event, but reached the final of the K-4 1000 m event, finishing in fifth. That year, he was also part of the winning team the K-4 1000 m at the European Championships.

Erlon de Souza Silva is a Brazilian sprint canoeist who competes in the 1000 m doubles event (C-2). He placed tenth at the 2012 Olympics and won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Games. He won two more silver medals at the 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games and became a world champion in 2015.
