Fourth Commission of the House of Representatives, more commonly known as Fourth Commission, is one of thirteen commissions for the 2024-2029 period, within the House of Representatives of Indonesia. The commission has the scope of tasks in the fields of agriculture, the environment, forestry, and marine affairs. [1] [2]

The House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia is one of two elected chambers of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), the national legislature of Indonesia. It is considered the lower house, while the Regional Representative Council (DPD) serves as the upper house; while the Indonesian constitution does not explicitly mention the divide, the DPR enjoys more power, privilege, and prestige compared to the DPD.

The commission has the scope of tasks in the fields of defense, foreign affairs, communications and informatics, and intelligence.
Sutan Bhatoegana Siregar was an Indonesian politician of the Democratic Party. Sutan was a member of the People's Representative Council Commission VII of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR-RI) for the period 2009-2014 were selected from the 2009 legislative elections from the first North Sumatra constituency that includes Medan, Deli Serdang, Serdang Badagai, and Tebing Tinggi by the Democratic Party. Legislative elections were held across Indonesia's 38 provinces on 14 February 2024 to elect 2,372 members of the Provincial Regional House of Representatives and 17,510 members of municipal legislatures. Eighteen political parties contested the election nationally, in addition to six regional parties contesting elections in Aceh. The election occurred as part of the general election, which also included elections for the president, members of the national House of Representatives (DPR), and members of the Regional Representative Council (DPD).
