Tina Monica Joemat-Pettersson was a South African politician who served as the Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Police from July 2019 until her death in June 2023. A member of the African National Congress,Joemat-Petterson had previously served as the Minister of Agriculture,Forestry and Fisheries from 2009 until 2014 and as the Minister of Energy from May 2014 until March 2017 under President Jacob Zuma.

It was elected in the general election of 8 May 2019 and consists of the National Assembly and the National Council of Provinces. The National Assembly contains 400 members,while the National Council of Provinces contains 90 members. It was formally opened by President Ramaphosa's State of the Nation Address in a joint sitting on 20 June 2019.

When Ramaphosa served as deputy president,Koornhof was his parliament counsellor. An MP since 1994,Koornhof currently represents the African National Congress,though he previously represented United Democratic Movement between 1999 and 2003 and the National Party/New National Party before that.

Gelderblom served as an ANC MP from 2009 to 2014.

Following her re-election in 2009,she was elected chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Trade and Industry,a position she would hold until she left Parliament at the 2019 general election.
