Francis Barrett (2 August 1872 – 22 March 1907) was a Scottish footballer, who played as a goalkeeper. He was born in Dundee.
Barrett played for Dundee Harp before joining Dundee Football Club upon its foundation in 1893. [1] While with the Dark Blues, he would make 49 total appearances for the club in their first three seasons, and would win two caps for Scotland in 1894 and 1895. [2] In September 1896, he signed with Newton Heath (now Manchester United). He made 132 appearances for the club, scoring no goals. In May 1900, he left for New Brighton Tower. In 1901, he briefly returned to Manchester, making eight appearances for Manchester City. In 1903, he became one of the founding players of Aberdeen Football Club. He died in 1907, aged 35. After Barrett's death, Manchester United gifted £35 to his widow.
John Francombe "Ian" Ure is a former Scottish football player and manager. Ure started his career with Dundee, before moving to England to play for Arsenal and Manchester United. After eight years in England, Ure returned to Scotland to play for St Mirren, however, after two seasons with the Paisley club and only three league appearances, Ure went into football management with East Stirlingshire. During his time with Dundee and Arsenal, Ure played on 12 occasions for the Scotland national team.

Frank Booth, also known as 'Tabby', was an English footballer who played in the Football League for Stockport County, Manchester City and Bury. He played in the outside left position. He had two spells as a Manchester City player between 1902 and 1906 and in 1911. In total he made 98 appearances for the team and scored 18 goals. He also won one cap for England.
