Frank Seaton Turner (born July 6,1947) is an American politician who represented District 13 in the Maryland House of Delegates and is a past chairman of the Howard County Delegation. [2]
In 2014,the ballfields at Blandair regional park were named after Turner for securing Program Open Space funding for the project. [3]

On this day,Mike Huckabee withdrew from the race when John McCain won enough delegates to claim the Republican nomination for president. It was the second Super Tuesday election of 2008 and took place approximately one month after the first Super Tuesday of this election. During the American Civil War Turner raised a company to fight with the Confederate States Army in the 36th Virginia Infantry and later became a staff officer.
