Springdale is the fourth-most populous city in Arkansas, United States. It is located in both Washington and Benton counties in Northwest Arkansas. Located on the Springfield Plateau deep in the Ozark Mountains, Springdale has long been an important industrial city for the region. In addition to several trucking companies, the city is home to the world headquarters of Tyson Foods, the world's largest meat producing company. Originally named Shiloh, the city changed its name to Springdale when applying for a post office in 1872. It is included in the four-county Northwest Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is ranked 102nd in terms of population in the United States with 546,725 in 2020 according to the United States Census Bureau. The city had a population of 84,161 at the 2020 Census.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is the newspaper of record in the U.S. state of Arkansas, printed in Little Rock with a northwest edition published in Lowell. It is distributed for sale in all 75 of Arkansas' counties.

Lyon College is a private liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church and located in Batesville, Arkansas. Founded in 1872 as Arkansas College, it is the oldest independent college in Arkansas.
Arkansas Baptist College (ABC) is a private Baptist-affiliated historically black college in Little Rock, Arkansas. Founded in 1884 as the Minister's Institute, ABC was initially funded by the Colored Baptists of the State of Arkansas. It is the only historically black Baptist school west of the Mississippi River. The Main Building on its campus, built in 1893, is one of the oldest surviving academic buildings in the state, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
Kavanaugh Field was a minor league baseball park in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was the home of the Little Rock Travelers prior to their move to Travelers Field in 1932. The ballpark opened in 1901, as West End Park. In 1915 it was renamed for former team owner and Southern Association president William M. Kavanaugh, after he had died from a sudden illness in February 1915.
The 1906 Arkansas Cardinals football team represented the University of Arkansas during the 1906 college football season. The Razorbacks compiled a 2–4–2 record and were outscored by their opponents by a combined total of 70 to 45.
The 1909 Arkansas Razorbacks football team represented the University of Arkansas during the 1909 college football season. In their second year under head coach Hugo Bezdek, Arkansas compiled a 7–0 record, shut out four of seven opponents, and outscored all opponents by a combined total of 185 to 18.
The 1912 Arkansas Razorbacks football team represented the University of Arkansas during the 1912 college football season. In their fifth and final year under head coach Hugo Bezdek, the Razorbacks compiled a 4–6 record and were outscored by all opponents by a combined total of 179 to 149. The Razorbacks were blown out in games against Texas A&M (27–0), Wisconsin (64–7), and Texas (48–0). Bezdek left Arkansas after the 1912 season to become head football coach at Oregon, where he was offered more money and a modern gymnasium and athletic field. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1954.

The 1901 Arkansas Cardinals football team was an American football team that represented the University of Arkansas as an independent during the 1901 college football season. In its first season under head coach Charles Thomas, the team compiled a 3–5 record and outscored opponents by a total of 98 to 52.
Dollarway High School was a comprehensive public high school in northwest Pine Bluff, Arkansas that served grades 9 through 12. It was one of three public high schools in Pine Bluff and was a part of the Pine Bluff School District effective July 1, 2021. Prior to that point it was the only high school managed by the Dollarway School District. Within the state, the school is often referred to as Pine Bluff Dollarway. It closed as of fall 2023.
Marshallese Americans are Americans of Marshallese descent or Marshallese people naturalized in the United States. According to the 2010 census, 22,434 people of Marshallese origin lived in the United States at that time, though that number has grown significantly over the last decade. A 2018 estimate put the number at approximately 30,000, while the 2020 census found a population of 47,300. The United States has the highest concentration of Marshallese people outside the Marshall Islands. Most of these Marshallese people live in Hawaii and Arkansas, with significant populations in Washington, California, Oklahoma and Oregon.
Vannette William Johnson was an American football and track coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff—known as Arkansas Agricultural, Mechanical & Normal College prior to 1972—for 11 seasons, from 1962 to 1972, and compiled a record of 53–46–6.
The 1897 Arkansas Industrial Cardinals football team represented the University of Arkansas during the 1897 college football season. Arkansas opened its 1897 season with its sixth game in four years against the team from Fort Smith High School. The Cardinals next competed in their third intercollegiate game, playing Drury College to a 6–6 tie. On November 20, 1897, Arkansas won its first ever intercollegiate football game against Ouachita College, a liberal arts college in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
