Taylen Green (born October 18, 2002) is an American football quarterback for the Arkansas Razorbacks. He previously played for the Boise State Broncos.
Green attended Lewisville High School in Lewisville, Texas. As a junior, he passed for 2,217 yards and 25 touchdowns. [2] He committed to Boise State University to play college football. [3]
Green played in two games as a backup to Hank Bachmeier his first year at Boise State in 2021. [4] He started 2022 as the backup to Bachmeier, before becoming the starter after Bachmeier got injured, [5] [6] [7] [8] In his first career start in a 35-13 home win against the San Diego State Aztecs, he passed for just 48 yards but rushed for 105 with two touchdowns. He also led his team to the Mountain West Championship Game, against the Fresno State Bulldogs. However, they lost the game, 28-16. He also started in the Frisco Bowl against the North Texas Mean Green, winning that game, 35-32. [9] Green led Boise State to the 2023 MWC championship beating the UNLV Rebels, 44-20, and was named the MWC championship game MVP. He entered the transfer portal on December 4, 2023. [10]
On December 11, 2023, Green announced he was transferring to Arkansas. [11] In his debut against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Green threw for 229 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air, as well as 88 yards and another 2 scores on the ground, winning the game, 70-0. [12] In his next game against the 16th ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys, He threw for 416 yards and a touchdown, while adding 64 more yards rushing on 18 attempts, but lost 39-31, in overtime. He ran for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns in his next game against the UAB Blazers. On October 26, against the Mississippi State Bulldogs, he passed for 314 yards and 5 touchdowns, while also adding 79 yards rushing, leading the Razorbacks to a victory over the Bulldogs, 58-25. In the Liberty Bowl against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, he passed for 341 yards on only 11 completions with 2 passing touchdowns, and added 81 yards rushing and a touchdown on 15 attempts. The Razorbacks beat the Red Raiders 39-26, and Green was named the Liberty Bowl MVP. In 2024, he started every game and threw for 3,154 yards with 15 touchdowns, 9 interceptions, while also adding 602 yards on the ground with 8 rushing touchdowns.
Green has elected to return to Arkansas for his senior season in 2025.

The 2007 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl was a post-season college football bowl game between the Boise State University Broncos from the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and the East Carolina University Pirates from Conference USA (C-USA). This sixth edition of the Hawaii Bowl, sponsored by Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, was played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu on December 23, 2007. The game was the final competition of the 2007 football season for each team and resulted in a 41–38 East Carolina victory, even though sportsbooks favored Boise State to win by 10+1⁄2 points. Many experts believed East Carolina to be big underdogs to Boise State, which had defeated the Oklahoma Sooners in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. The 2007 Hawaiʻi Bowl paid $750,000 to each team's conference in exchange for their participation.
The 2008 Boise State Broncos football team represented Boise State University in the 2008 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Broncos played their home games at Bronco Stadium, most famous for its blue artificial turf surface, often referred to as the "smurf-turf". The blue turf was new for the 2008 season, as the old Astroplay surface was replaced by Field Turf. The Broncos won the Western Athletic Conference championship and were one of only two teams to finish the 2008 regular season with an undefeated record. However, the Broncos were unable to finish the season undefeated after losing 17–16 to #11 TCU in the Poinsettia Bowl.

The Tigers, led by second-year head coach Gene Chizik were members of the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference and played their home games at Jordan–Hare Stadium. The team played five home games at Razorback Stadium and two home games at War Memorial Stadium. Coach Bobby Petrino was in his third year with the Razorbacks. They were members of the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference. The Razorbacks finished the season 10–2, 6–2 in SEC play and earned a berth in the Sugar Bowl, their first appearance in a BCS bowl since the inception of the BCS in 1998, where they were defeated by Ohio State by a 31–26 score.
Bryan Dale Harsin is an American college football coach. He is the offensive coordinator at California. He was the head coach at Auburn Tigers from 2021–2022. Prior to coaching at Auburn, he coached the Boise State University Broncos from the 2014 season through the 2020 season where he posted a 69–19 overall record. He began his head coaching career at Arkansas State University for the 2013 season. Harsin was the co-offensive coordinator at the University of Texas for two seasons. Before leaving for Texas in 2011, Harsin was an assistant at Boise State for 10 seasons, the last five as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
James Tyler Wilson is an American former professional football quarterback. Wilson is the all-time passing yards leader at the University of Arkansas. He was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL draft. He played college football at Arkansas. Wilson was also a member of the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals.
