Fredrik Carlsen (born 1 December 1989) is a Norwegian football midfielder who currently plays for Aalesunds FK in the Norwegian Premier League. [2]
He was under contract with Vålerenga Fotball, but was loaned to Aalesund for the 2009 season. [3] This loan was extended for the 2010 season after the clubs couldn't agree a transfer price.
He was sent off during AaFK's first ever cup final in 2009 which the club still went on to win.

Aalesunds Fotballklubb, commonly known as Aalesund or AaFK, is a Norwegian football club from the town of Ålesund, that competes in the Eliteserien, the first tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was founded on 25 June 1914. As of 2004, the football club had 835 members and several teams on both professional and amateur levels. These teams are the 1st and 2nd teams, junior team, and also several age-specific teams.

The 2015 Tippeligaen was the 71st completed season of top-tier football in Norway. The competition began on 6 April 2015, one week later than in the previous season. A short summer-break in June was scheduled between the rounds played on 12 July and 26 July, and the decisive match was played on 8 November 2015. Molde were the defending champions. Sandefjord, Tromsø and Mjøndalen joined as the promoted clubs from the 2014 1. divisjon. They replaced Brann, Sogndal and Sandnes Ulf who were relegated to the 2015 1. divisjon.
