Fresh FM is a Dutch regional, commercial radio station transmitted through air in the regions of Greater Amsterdam, Utrecht, Haaglanden and Rhine/Haarlemmermeer. It broadcasts for free via the Internet. Fresh FM's programming is primarily dance music and is very diverse within that genre. The station's target audience is 17- to 49-year-olds and it is one of the most listened to regional radio stations. It is based in The Hague. Fresh FM has existed for several years and got a lot during the Zerobase in 2003 with the broadcasting territories of North Holland (Amsterdam, Haarlem and Haarlemmermeer), South Holland (The Hague, Leiden and Alphen) and the city Utrecht. Fresh FM's slogans are "Feel good!" and "It's all about the music".

Since 2001, he has hosted A State of Trance (ASOT), a weekly radio show, which is broadcast to nearly 40 million listeners in 84 countries on over 100 FM radio stations. According to the website DJs and Festivals, "the radio show propelled him to stardom and helped cultivate an interest in trance music around the world".

Ferry Corsten is a Dutch DJ, record producer and remixer. He is well known for producing many pioneering trance tracks during the 1990s–2000s under his numerous aliases, including System F, Moonman, Pulp Victim and Gouryella. In recent years, he has shifted to a broader electronic music style, playing everything from progressive house to uplifting trance; and hosts his own weekly radio show, Resonation Radio. SLAM! is a Dutch commercial national radio station that plays current-based rhythmic and dance hits. SLAM! has a strong commitment in breaking new dance music. The playlist and presentation serves as a combination of 538 and 3FM. The station is broadcast in the Netherlands and can be received via the either FM, Internet (worldwide) and cable. The broadcasting building and studios of SLAM! are located in Naarden, North Holland. In 2012, it was announced that SLAM! has the largest market share among the country's young people (16.8%). It is a sister station of 100% NL.

A State of Trance is a Dutch trance radio show, hosted by Armin van Buuren and co-producer Ruben de Ronde, that first aired in June 2001. It is currently aired weekly every Thursday at 20:00 (CET) and 14:00 (EST) and as of January 2021, ASOT is broadcast by more than 150 stations in 84 countries claiming a weekly listener count surpassing 40 million.
