Waterstad FM is a regional Dutch commercial radio station. Waterstad FM takes its name from "the city of waters", where the station for the first time on the cable could be heard, namely Sneek.
Waterstad FM was founded in 2000. After the spectrum auction in 2003, Waterstad FM started broadcasting in Friesland and the Noordoostpolder.
On 1 November 2007, Waterstad FM was acquired by the NDC Mediagroep. It managed Waterstad FM, RadioNL and Freez FM through its subsidiary NDC Radio.
On 1 May 2013, NDC Mediagroep sold its radio stations to Beheer Regionale Radio, operator of TV Oranje. [1]
Initially, Waterstad FM was a non-stop music channel. Since September 2010, it also features presented programs.

Radio 538 is a Dutch commercial radio station active since 1992 and based in Hilversum. It is the second most-listened-to radio station in the Netherlands. Radio 538 refers to the wavelength that Radio Veronica was broadcast on in the seventies. This station was intended for the younger generation and is owned by Talpa Network. It plays a hybrid of current dance, R'n'B, pop and rock hits, mainly based upon the Dutch Top 40 chart. The station neither focuses on a CHR/Top-40 format, nor a more Dance-intensive approach. The breakfast and drivetime shows are more talk-intensive than others. Traditionally, the station was only obtained through cable, however in 1998 the station upgraded to a different frequency package, allowing for different frequencies by region. Radio 538 started the hip-hop and contemporary R&B program Juize, which developed into the radio station Juize.FM on 18 July 2004. Later, in 2011, Radio 538 created a sister station called TV 538.
Kerrang! Radio is a specialist digital rock music radio station owned and operated by Bauer and forms part of the Kiss Network. Launched as a digital station on Freeview in 2002, expanded to London from 2003. It was also known as Kerrang! 105.2 FM in the West Midlands from 2004 to 2013 when its studios in Lionel Street, Birmingham, 105.2 was turned over to Planet Rock in June 2013. It was London only until May 2018 to make way for Hits Radio.

Arrow Classic Rock is a Dutch radio station, that plays classic rock and some modern rock. Arrow Classic Rock broadcasts on FM and is also receivable via cable, all nationwide. Owned by Ad Ossendrijver and Willem van Kooten, the station started broadcasts via all Dutch cablenetworks in 1996 and bought AM 828 from Veronica FM in 1998. In 2003 the frequencies of medium wave had been redistributed and the station moved to AM 675. In May 2007 Crosspoints BV, the company which produced Arrow Classic Rock and Arrow Jazz FM bought Caz! to use their FM frequencies. On 31 January 2008 they ceased their AM transmissions, transmitting an announcement in English advising their move to FM and to use the web stream. Three evenings a week, a variety of program specials can be heard. On Monday Liselotte Hegt presents the program Arrow High Voltage!, on Tuesday Arie Verstegen presented Symphonic Mania! and Wednesday to hear the Bluesbox Gerry Jungen.
