Freya Jones (born 13 November 1993) is an English track and field athlete specialising in the javelin throw. [2] [3]

Competing for the Georgia Bulldogs women's track and field team, Jones won the 2013 javelin throw at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. [4]

She became British champion when winning the javelin throw event at the 2020 British Athletics Championships with a throw of 53.12 metres. [5]

The NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships are the annual collegiate track and field competitions for women athletes representing Division I institutions organised by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). A separate NCAA Division I men's competition is also held. Anderson Peters is a Grenadian javelin thrower and the 2019 and 2022 world champion in the event. In 2024, he won the bronze medal in the men's javelin throw at the Paris Olympic Games. He is a multiple time CARIFTA Games champion at the discipline and in 2016 earned a bronze medal at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, setting a new Grenadian national record and OECS record at the same time.

Colleen Felix is a Grenadian former track and field athlete who competed in the heptathlon. In 2009, she set the national record in that event.
