Charles David "Fritz" Hamburg is an American college baseball coach and former catcher. Hamburg is the head coach of the Saint Joseph's Hawks baseball team.
Hamburg attended The Hill School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. After graduating from The Hill School, Hamburg enrolled at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he would play for the Virginia Tech Hokies baseball team. After two years at Virginia Tech, Hamburg transferred to Ithaca College. [1] While at Ithaca, he was named a Third Team All-American in 1988, [2] while leading the Bombers to a National Championship. [3]
Following graduation, Hamburg signed with the Philadelphia Phillies and was assigned to the Spartanburg Phillies. [4] Hamburg had a .194 batting average, .358 on base percentage, seven doubles, and 7 RBIs.
Hamburg began his coaching career as an assistant for the Cornell Big Red baseball team. After two years, Hamburg moved on to be an assistant at New Mexico State and Cal Poly Pomona. Hamburg spent the 1996 season at Georgia before rejoining his alma mater Ithaca as an assistant from 1997 to 2000. Hamburg then moved on to being an assistant for the Army Black Knights baseball team. In 2007, he was named the ABCA/Baseball America Assistant Coach of the Year. [5]
On August 26, 2008, Hamburg was named the head coach of the Saint Joseph's Hawks baseball program. [6]

Hilbert College is a private Franciscan college in Hamburg, New York. The college is named after Colette Hilbert of the Franciscan Sisters of Saint Joseph, who founded the school in 1957 to train teachers. He received his nickname from a cousin in reference to a country music song of the same name.

Brian Patrick O'Connor is the head baseball coach of the Virginia Cavaliers. Previously serving as an Associate Head Coach at Notre Dame, he was hired on July 8, 2003, to replace the retiring Dennis Womack. O'Connor has taken the Virginia baseball team to fourteen NCAA baseball tournaments during his 15 seasons in Charlottesville, including the 2009 College World Series, the first in school history; the 2011 College World Series, as the No. 1 national seed; the 2014 College World Series, as the No. 3 national seed; and the 2015 College World Series, which they won and became National Champions for the first time in school history.

Timothy Carter Corbin is the head baseball coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team. Since becoming coach at Vanderbilt in 2003, Corbin has transformed the Commodores from a perennial Southeastern Conference doormat to an elite program. When he arrived in 2003, Vanderbilt had only had six winning seasons in SEC play since baseball became a scholarship sport in 1968, and had only been to three NCAA tournaments in school history. Since then, they have been to all but one NCAA tournament since 2004.
David Scott Serrano is an American baseball coach and pitcher. Serrano formerly served as head coach at Cerritos College from 1984 to 1985 and at California State University, Fullerton from 1986 to 1987 for coach Augie Garrido. He served as the head coach at University of California, Irvine from 2005 to 2007, Cal State Fullerton from 2008 to 2011, the University of Tennessee from 2012 to 2017 and CSU Northridge from 2020–2022.

Established in 1889, the team participates in the Coastal division of the Atlantic Coast Conference and plays its home games at Davenport Field at Disharoon Park. The team's head coach is Brian O'Connor. The team has reached the College World Series seven times, most recently in 2024, and won the national championship in 2015.
The Saint Joseph's Hawks men's basketball team represents Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The program is classified in the NCAA's Division I, and the team competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Saint Joseph's competes as well as part of the Philadelphia Big 5. Their home court is the Hagan Arena. The team is coached by Billy Lange, who was hired on March 28, 2019, after Phil Martelli was fired as head coach on March 19, 2019, after 24 seasons.

The Pittsburgh Panthers baseball is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate baseball program of the University of Pittsburgh, often referred to as "Pitt", located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Pitt baseball team competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference and plays their home games at Charles L. Cost Field in the Petersen Sports Complex. It is the university's oldest recorded sport, dating to 1869. Prior to joining the ACC in 2013-14, Pitt had won both the Big East Conference regular season and Big East Tournament championships. The Panthers have also received four First Team All-American selections, and have appeared in three NCAA championships. 52 Panthers have been selected in the Major League Baseball Draft.

The Bryant Bulldogs baseball team is the NCAA division 1 varsity intercollegiate baseball team of Bryant University, located in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The program participates a member of the America East Conference. The Bulldogs previously participated as members of the Northeast Conference. It plays at Conaty Park on the northern edge of Bryant's campus. Ryan Klosterman has been the program's head coach since the 2020 season.
Frank Leoni is an American baseball coach, currently the head baseball coach of the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers. He played college baseball at Rhode Island from 1988 to 1991. He then served as head coach at William & Mary Tribe (2006–2012), the Rhode Island Rams (1993–2005) and the Marymount Saints (2014–2021).
The 2014 NCAA Division I baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began on February 14, 2014. The season progressed through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and concluded with the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament and 2014 College World Series. The College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA tournament and held annually in Omaha, Nebraska, at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, ended on June 25, 2014, with the final game of the best-of-three championship series between Vanderbilt and Virginia, won by Vanderbilt.
James Michael Andrew Toman is an American college baseball coach and former player. He had been head coach of Liberty from the 2008 season until 2016. Under Toman, Liberty has qualified for two NCAA tournaments. He also served as the head coach of the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (2019–2022).
Lisa Boyer is the associate head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks women's basketball team since 2010. Prior to her time with the Gamecocks, Boyer was the head coach of the Bradley Braves women's basketball team from 1986 to 1996. As an assistant for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2001 to 2002, Boyer was the first woman to coach in the National Basketball Association. Boyer was inducted into the Ithaca College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014.
