Frode Lillefjell (born 9 December 1968) [1] is a former Norwegian cross-country skier and current coach.

He competed in the 1992–93 FIS Cross-Country World Cup. [2] He was also an able long distance runner, with personal best times that include 8:24.28 minutes in the 3000 metres (1993), 14:51.37 minutes in the 5000 metres (1995) and 30.59.06 minutes in the 10,000 metres (1995). [1] He represented the club Henning SL [2] in skiing and Ogndal IL in athletics.

From 2001 to 2008 he was based in Alaska as skiing coach at Alaska Pacific University. He coached Kikkan Randall when she became the US' first female World Cup race winner in December 2007. In 2008 he was hired as a coach of Team Trøndelag, a regional ski team in Trøndelag, Norway. [3] Already in May 2010 he had achieved sufficient success to be given the Cross-Country Coach of the Year Award in Norway. [4]

In addition, he won three team events in the World Championships and another team gold in the Olympics.

Kikkan Randall is an American, Olympic champion cross-country skier. She has won 17 U.S. National titles, made 29 podiums on the World Cup, made five trips to the Winter Olympic Games and had the highest finish by an individual American woman at the World Championships, second in the Sprint in Liberec in 2009. She was the first American female cross-country skier to take a top ten finish in World Cup competition, to win a World Cup race and to win a World Cup discipline title. She won the silver medal in the individual sprint at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec, becoming the first American woman to win a medal in cross country skiing at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, and in 2013 teamed up with Jessie Diggins to win the first ever American FIS Nordic World Ski Championships gold medal in the team sprint. Harald Grønningen Norwegian cross-country skier

Harald Grønningen was a Norwegian cross-country skier who competed during the 1960s, earning five winter olympic and two world championship medals. He also won nine Norwegian championship titles and received the King's cup in 1963 and 1967.
