The Jesus Lizard is an American rock band formed in 1987 in Austin, Texas and based in Chicago, Illinois. They were "a leading noise rock band in the American independent underground…[who] turned out a series of independent records filled with scathing, disembowelling, guitar-driven pseudo-industrial noise, all of which received positive reviews in underground music publications and heavy college-radio play."
David Yow is an American musician and actor born in Las Vegas, Nevada and best known as the vocalist for the noise rock bands Scratch Acid and The Jesus Lizard. Yow's debut solo album, Tonight You Look Like a Spider, was released in June 2013 on Joyful Noise Records.
The Didjits were an American punk rock band formed in Mattoon, Illinois in 1983, composed of Rick Sims on guitar/vocals, Doug Evans on bass, and Rick's brother Brad Sims, on drums. Didjits were known for the aggressive guitar playing and persona of Rick Sims, who often baited the audience between songs, and took plenty of abuse for it. Moreover, the band also added odd stunts and theatrical bits to some of their stage shows, particularly when playing in Chicago and Champaign.
Scratch Acid was an Austin, Texas noise rock group formed in 1982. One of the pioneers of noise rock in the 1980s, the band is best remembered as a stepping stone for its front man David Yow, and bass player David Wm. Sims, both later of The Jesus Lizard.

"My Father My King" is a song by Scottish post-rock band Mogwai, which was released as a single in October 2001. Over 20 minutes long, and billed as a companion piece to the album Rock Action, a sticker on the cover of the single describes it as "two parts serenity and one part death metal". The song is regularly used to end Mogwai concerts – most recently, in 2015, it was the finale of all six of the band's 20th anniversary shows – and was often extended in length.
Two Nuns and a Pack Mule is the first and only album by the Chicago noise rock band Rapeman, released by Touch & Go Records on August 23, 1988. The CD re-release contained the Budd extended play in its entirety.
For the Love is the ninth studio album by country music artist Tracy Lawrence, released on January 30, 2007 through his personal label Rocky Comfort Records. It debuted at #53 on the Billboard 200. Three singles were released from the album: "Find Out Who Your Friends Are" reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and became Lawrence's first chart-topping song since "Time Marches On" in mid-1996. The album's second single, "Til I Was a Daddy Too", reached #32 on the same chart. "You Can't Hide Redneck" was released in October 2008 as the third single.

Gaza Strippers were an American garage punk band from Chicago formed by Rick Sims, who had previously played guitar with The Supersuckers and was the lead singer and lead guitarist of The Didjits. The band released its first single in 1997 on Bam Bam Records, titled Transistor. The group released its first full-length album, Laced Candy, on Man's Ruin Records in 1999, and followed with 1000 Watt Confessions on Lookout! Records the following year in 2000. They released their next album, Electric Bible, on Twenty Stone Blatt Records in 2000. The group's final full-length album, From the Desk of Dr. Freepill, was issued in 2002. Both Rick Sims and Mike Hodgkiss share lead guitar.
All Rise is the second full-length album recorded by Chicago post-hardcore band Naked Raygun in 1985 and released on LP by Homestead Records in 1986. When Quarterstick Records re-released all of Naked Raygun's early albums in the late 90s, two bonus tracks were added to the CD album.

Que Sirhan Sirhan is the fifth and final studio album by Didjits, released on August 3, 1993 through Touch and Go Records. A music video was made for the song "Judge Hot Fudge", which was later featured on an episode of Beavis and Butt-head.
