Karl Fung Kar Leung is a Hong Kong politician, businessman, and academic. He is a member of the Hong Kong Liberal Party and was elected as District Councillor for the Central and Western District in December 2023. ^{[1] [2]}

Before being elected as a Central and Western District Council member, Fung Ka-leung had already been actively involved in community service. His work spans multiple areas including transportation, cultural preservation, and community activities. ^[3]

Political career

Karl is a member of the Hong Kong Liberal Party. He first participated in the direct district elections in 2019. ^{[4] [5]} In December 2023, he was elected as a District Councillor representing the Central and Western District, securing 3,061 votes from residents across seven districts. ^{[6] [7] [8]}
