Jonathan De Jesus Gandarilla known professionally as Ganda is a Puerto Rican music producer and music manager. [1] He is the president of Ganda Entertainment and the indie label The Golden Army. [2]

Career

Jonathan De Jesus Gandarilla is the president of the company Ganda Entertainment, a music company based in Puerto Rico. [3] From 2009 till 2016, he was the manager of the Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Baby Rasta & Gringo. [4] He produced their fourth album Los Cotizados which was released under the label Ganda Entertainment and stayed at the number 1 position at the Latin Rhythm Airplay Charts. [5] [6]

Gandarilla was the executive and creative producer behind the albums Trap Capos: Season 1 featuring artists such as Anuel AA, Bryant Myers, Brytiago and many others and Trap Capos: Season 2 featuring artists such as Baby Rasta & Gringo, Noriel, Bad Bunny, Yandel, Prince Royce, Lito Kirino and many others with Trap Capos Season 1 being nominated for Top Latin Combination Album of the Year at the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards. [7] Trap Capos: Season 1 also debuted at number one on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart. [8] [9] Both Trap Capos: Season 1 and Trap Capos: Season 2 have a Gold RIAA certification. [10] The third compilation album Trap Capos: Season 3 will be released soon and will be a joint venture between Ganda Entertainment and Sony Music Latin. [11]

Gandarilla and music producer Santana run an independent record label as well, The Golden Army which focuses on new artists. [12] Gandarilla also has a YouTube channel by the name of Ganda Vlogs where he talks about reggaeton and Puerto Rican music in general. [13]

<i>Sentimiento</i> (album) 2007 studio album by Ivy Queen

Sentimiento is the sixth studio album by Puerto Rican recording artist Ivy Queen. It was released on March 27, 2007, by Univision Records. The album features production collaborations with several Puerto Rican music producers including Monserrate & DJ Urba, Noriega, and Luny Tunes. It also features vocal collaborations with Don Omar, Arcángel, Tito "El Bambino", Ken-Y, Randy and Naldo. The album includes solo performances by Baby Rasta, Divino, Mikey Perfecto, Naldo and Noriega. Musically, the album alternates between reggaetón, bolero, and salsa. The move in musical composition from reggaetón and hip hop is credited to Queen's evolution as a musical artist.

Nelson Díaz Martinez, known professionally as DJ Nelson is a Puerto Rican DJ and record producer who played a significant role in the development and popularization of reggaeton. He first made a name for himself as part of the Noise, a club-centered collective that was spawned in 1994. The Noise—composed of DJs, MCs, producers, and club coordinators—hosted a long-lasting series of club nights in San Juan that were vital to the development and popularization of reggaeton. DJ Nelson earned credit as one of the top Noise DJs, and he also served as a producer and arranger for the collective's music.

12 Discípulos is the debut compilation album, and fifth overall, by Puerto Rican reggaeton rapper Eddie Dee. It was released on January 29, 2004, and independently distributed by Diamond Music. 12 Discípulos features eleven other reggaeton musicians, who were among the most requested in the genre at the time. These include Daddy Yankee, along with Ivy Queen, Tego Calderón, Voltio, Vico C, Zion & Lennox, Nicky Jam, Johnny Prez, Gallego, and Wiso G.

Dangerous is the third studio album by Puerto Rican reggaeton and pop artist Yandel, of the duo Wisin & Yandel, released worldwide on November 6, 2015 through Sony Music Latin. Contrary of his previous studio album, De Líder A Leyenda, Dangerous focuses mainly on reggaeton music, with some synthpop and electropop exceptions. It features reggaeton artists including Nicky Jam, Tego Calderón, Gadiel and De La Ghetto, as well as artists from other genres like Lil Jon, Pitbull, French Montana, Future, Shaggy and Alex Sensation. As of March 2016, the album includes only one single: "Encantadora", released on October, as well as a promotional electropop song titled "Somos Uno", released on September 18, 2015. It reached the top position on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, surpassing 5,000 copies sold as of November 12, 2015. The album also reached the 10th position on Billboard's Best Latin Albums of 2015 ranking, being one of the two reggaeton albums that were chosen by the magazine's editors, the other one being The Last Don 2 by Don Omar, who reached the 9th position. The Noise was a Puerto Rican collective of DJs, rappers, and producers who performed at a club, by the same name in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It included many of Puerto Rican performers, some of whom would later find solo success, including Vico C, Baby Rasta & Gringo, Baby Ranks, DJ David, DJ Negro, DJ Nelson, Don Chezina, Ivy Queen, Las Guanabanas, Point Breakers, Trebol Clan, Tony Touch.

Bryan Robert Rohena Pérez, known professionally as Bryant Myers, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer and songwriter. Rohena was born in Loma Alta, Puerto Rico. He is best known for his single "Esclava", which gained him popularity in his hometown.
