Ganga Bahadur Dangol (born 1962) is a Nepalese judoka. He competed in the men's lightweight event at the 1988 Summer Olympics. [1] In recent years, due to his declining health, particularly mental instability, he has gone on an indefinite hiatus from participating in competitive sports. He reportedly also has developed issues regarding incontinence. He is also an avid chess fan.
India sent a delegation to compete at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy from 10–26 February 2006. This was the nation's seventh appearance in a Winter Olympic Games. The Indian delegation consisted of four athletes, two in alpine skiing, one in cross-country skiing, and one in luge. Their best performance in any event was 25th by luger Shiva Keshavan in the men's singles.

Pyar Kiye Jaa is a 1966 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed and produced by C. V. Sridhar. It stars Kishore Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Mehmood, Kalpana, Rajasree, Mumtaz, Om Prakash. It was a "semi-hit" at the box office. The film is a remake of the Tamil comedy Kadhalikka Neramillai (1964), which was remade into Telugu as Preminchi Choodu in 1965. Actress Rajasree starred in all three versions of the film. Kadhalikka Neramillai was also later remade in Kannada as Preethi Madu Thamashe Nodu and in Marathi as Dhoom Dhadaka. The role played by Nagesh in the Tamil version was reprised by Mehmood in the Hindi version and by Dwarakish in the Kannada version.

Bahadur Prasad Singh is a former Indian middle distance runner. He holds the current national records in 5000 metres. Singh set the 5000 m record (13:29.70) in Birmingham, UK on 27 June 1992. Then on 23 December 1995, Prasad clocked a time of 3:38.00 at the 1995 South Asian Games in Chennai to set the 1500 m national record, which stood for 23 years.
Bahadur Singh Chouhan is a former Indian shot putter. Between 1973 and 1985 he won three gold, two silver and three bronze medals at the Asian Games and Championships. He placed 15th at the 1980 Summer Olympics, and was honoured with Arjuna award and Padma Shri. He is a recipient of Dronacharya Award, by the government of India. Presently he is working as the head coach of the Indian athletics team.

Nepal competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, which was held from 27 July to 12 August 2012. The country's participation at London marked its twelfth appearance in the Summer Olympics since its début at the 1964 Summer Olympics. The delegation included two track and field athletes; Tilak Ram Tharu and Pramila Rijal, one shooter Sneh Rana and two swimmers; Prasiddha Jung Shah and Shreya Dhital; all five competitors qualified for the Games through wildcard places from their respective sporting governing bodies. It was the smallest delegation sent by Nepal since the 1992 Summer Olympics. Shah was selected as the flag bearer for the opening and closing ceremonies. Four of the five athletes were unable to progress beyond the first stages of their respective events while Rana finished 54th in the women's 10 metre air rifle shooting competition.

Kamal Bahadur Adhikari is a Nepalese weightlifter. Adhikari represented Nepal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's lightweight category. He finished 20th of 22 who completed both aspects, as he lifted 114 kg in the snatch, and hoisted 154 kg from his third and final attempt in the clean and jerk, for a total of 268 kg.
