The school was merged with Lord Elgin High School to form Robert Bateman High School in 2004. The site of the high school was then used for Gary Allan High School, an adult and continuing education school.

It is located on New Street, Burlington's south-east district. Its capacity is 1,500 and it is the home venue to the Nelson Lords. The facility is primarily used for Canadian football, soccer, and baseball.
