Gary Jones (born 4 January 1958) is a British-born Canadian actor.
Jones has worked on television and on stage both in his native United Kingdom and Canada. He is known for his recurring role as the stargate technician CMSgt. Walter Harriman in Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis . [2] He has also made guest appearances on such shows as: Sliders , Cold Squad , The Outer Limits , Andromeda and Dead Like Me . [3]
Gary Jones was a member of the improv group "Mission Improvable", which had a comedy special, before his role on Stargate SG-1 . He joined Toronto's Second City Improv Company in the mid-1980s. [4]
In 1986, with Second City he went to Vancouver for Expo 86, where they performed for six months at the Expo's Flying Club. [5] After the Expo was finished, Jones stayed in Vancouver and started his acting career with guest appearances in TV shows, such as Wiseguy, Airwolf and Danger Bay. [3] He was also a player of the Vancouver TheatreSports League. [6]
Gary Jones is known not only for acting on screen and stage, but also for hosting events, including several Leo Awards galas [7] and the BCSS Emerald Eve gala, as well as appearances on CBC Radio's The Debaters .

Stargate SG-1 is a military science fiction adventure television series within Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's Stargate franchise. The show, created by Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner, is based on the 1994 science fiction film Stargate by Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich. The television series was filmed in and around the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The series premiered on Showtime on July 27, 1997, and moved to the Sci Fi Channel on June 7, 2002; the series finale aired on Sky1 on March 13, 2007.
Jonathan J. "Jack" O'Neill is a fictional character in the MGM's military science fiction franchise Stargate, primarily as one of the main characters of the television series Stargate SG-1. Richard Dean Anderson played O'Neill in all the Stargate media since 1997, when he took over the role from actor Kurt Russell, who portrayed the character in the original Stargate film in 1994. Cooper as a spin-off series of Stargate SG-1, which was created by Wright and Jonathan Glassner and was itself based on the feature film Stargate (1994). All five seasons of Stargate Atlantis were broadcast by the Sci-Fi Channel in the United States and The Movie Network in Canada. The show premiered on July 16, 2004; its final episode aired on January 9, 2009. The series was filmed in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Richard P. Woolsey is a fictional character in the Stargate television franchise about military teams exploring the Milky Way and Pegasus galaxies via a network of alien transportation devices. The eighth season of Stargate SG-1, an American-Canadian military science fiction television series, began airing on July 9, 2004, on the Sci Fi channel. The eighth season concluded on February 22, 2005, after 20 episodes on British Sky One, which overtook the Sci Fi Channel in mid-season. Peter Woeste is a German/Canadian TV director, cinematographer and camera operator. Woeste is best known for his work on Stargate SG-1 as a director and director of photography. Along with Jim Menard, Woeste was one of Stargate SG-1's main cinematographers during its ten-year series run, starting with the pilot episode "Children of the Gods". James Bamford, also known by the nickname "BamBam", is a Canadian film & television director, who was the sole "directing producer" of the series Arrow and directed 17 episodes of the series including multiple premieres, season finales, crossovers and the series finale. He started his career in the film and television industry as a stuntman and fight choreographer with his martial arts experience as his entry skill set. He continued on in his career to become a stunt coordinator, 2nd unit director, then director, and directing producer/executive producer.
