Powderfinger were an Australian rock band formed in Brisbane in 1989. From 1992 until their break-up in 2010, the line-up consisted of vocalist Bernard Fanning, guitarists Darren Middleton and Ian Haug, bass guitarist John Collins and drummer Jon Coghill. The group's third studio album Internationalist peaked at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart in September 1998. They followed with four more number-one studio albums in a row: Odyssey Number Five, Vulture Street, Dream Days at the Hotel Existence and Golden Rule. Their Top Ten hit singles are "My Happiness" (2000), "(Baby I've Got You) On My Mind" (2003) and "Lost and Running" (2007). Powderfinger earned a total of eighteen ARIA Awards, making them the second-most awarded band behind Silverchair. Ten Powderfinger albums and DVDs certified multiple-platinum, with Odyssey Number Five – their most successful album – achieving eightfold platinum certification for shipment of over 560,000 units.
Sara Bettine Storer is an Australian country music singer-songwriter and former teacher. She won a record breaking seven Golden Guitar awards in the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January 2004, and as of 2017, she has won 21 in total. Three of her six studio albums have reached the top 30 on the ARIA Albums Chart, Firefly, Lovegrass and Silos. Silos also won Best Country Album at the ARIA Music Awards of 2016. Storer has been a member of a country music trio, Songbirds (2007–09) alongside Beccy Cole and Gina Jeffries. Her older brother, Greg Storer, is also a country music singer-songwriter and the siblings have recorded and performed together.
Lisa Anne Miller is an Australian country pop singer-songwriter and guitarist. She has issued seven albums, Quiet Girl with a Credit Card (1996), As Far as a Life Goes (1999), Car Tape (2002), Version Originale (2003), Morning in the Bowl of Night (2007), Car Tape 2 (2010) and Meet the Misses (2012). She has a clear, bitter-sweet voice and provides poignant semi-biographical lyrics. At the ARIA Music Awards she has been nominated nine times.
Epicure were an Australian progressive rock band formed in Ballarat, in 1996 as Pima's Little Finger. Their original line-up was Juan Alban on vocals and guitar, Tim Bignell on bass guitar, Michael Brown on guitar, Luke Cairnes on guitar and Dom Santamaria on drums. "Armies Against Me" and "Life Sentence", were picked up by national youth radio, Triple J. These appeared on The Goodbye Girl, their third album. Both tracks were listed on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2003, whilst the title track of their next extended play, Self Destruct in Five, made the Triple J Hottest 100, 2004.
Darren Middleton is an Australian musician, best known as lead guitarist and songwriter for alternative rock band Powderfinger. He was also lead singer/songwriter for Drag; his current solo tour is 'Splinters', a follow-up to his 2013 solo tour 'Translations.' The 'Splinters' tour is Middleton's tour of Western Australia and Victoria in August and November 2016, respectively.
The Hampdens were an Australian indie pop band formed in Perth in 2002. They issued a studio album, The Last Party, in May 2008 before disbanding in 2010. During their career they performed in Australia and in London.
Destination is the second studio album from Irish singer-songwriter Ronan Keating. It was released by Polydor Records on 20 May 2002. The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and was certified two-times platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. In Ireland, the album debuted at number three. Additionally, the album charted within the top ten of nine other European countries. In 2002, Destination was certified platinum by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry for shipments of one million copies inside Europe. The album includes the singles "If Tomorrow Never Comes", "I Love It When We Do", "We've Got Tonight", and "The Long Goodbye", all of which peaked inside the top ten of the UK Singles Chart.
My Friend the Chocolate Cake are an Australian chamber pop group formed in 1989 by mainstays David Bridie on vocals and keyboards and Helen Mountfort on cello and backing vocals. They have released seven studio albums with two reaching the ARIA Albums Chart top 50, Brood (1994) and Good Luck (1997). These two album have both won the ARIA Award for Best Adult Contemporary Album; in 1995 and 1997.
"The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret" is the first single from Queens of the Stone Age's second album, Rated R. It was released in the summer of 2000 through Interscope Records in Europe as a standard single, and in the United States as only a promotional one. The track's music video received mild airplay on music television. It was also the only single from Rated R to get a chart position, reaching number 21 on the Mainstream Rock charts, number 36 on the Modern Rock charts and number 31 on the UK Singles Chart.

"Hip Hip Hooray" is the first single by Australian dance group Sneaky Sound System, it was released on 15 November 2004 well ahead of their self-titled debut studio album, Sneaky Sound System. Founding mainstay, Black Angus wrote the track, and contributed guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, drums and lead vocals. It appeared on the ARIA Singles Chart Top 100.
Powderfinger is the first studio recording by the Australian rock group Powderfinger. It is commonly referred to by fans as The Blue EP. The EP launch was at the Orient Hotel, Brisbane, on Friday 21 August 1992; the band was supported by the local act Lolita Carbine. The disk attracted the attention of some rock fans and the attention of Polydor record executives who, through this EP, signed the band. By the time the band was signed, they had just finished recording the follow-up EP Transfusion, which was the first work released on the Polydor label. Powderfinger contains the first version of "Save Your Skin", a song that was re-recorded the following year for their first album and released as the third and final single accompanying it.

Lynette Jean Bowtell is an Australian singer-songwriter from Kleinton, Queensland. She has won nine Golden Guitar Awards at the Country Music Awards of Australia. She was primary songwriter and singer for the pop country trio, Bella (2002–2006). Bowtell has to date released three solo albums, Heart's in the Country, Secret Songs and Heart of Sorrow. Alongside her solo career, since 2015, she has also been a member of Australian super-group, Bennett Bowtell Urquhart, with Kevin Bennett and Felicity Urquhart.
Mobin Master is an Australian DJ and producer. His version of the Robin S. song "Show Me Love" peaked at No. 7 on the ARIA Club Tracks chart and stayed in the top 50 for 52 weeks. It was nominated for the 2008 ARIA Award for Best Dance Release and reached No. 25 on ARIA's End of Year Top 50 Club Tracks chart in 2007.
"So Lonely" is a rock song performed by Australian band The Superjesus. The song was released in February 2004 as the third and final single from the band's third studio album, Rock Music (2003). The song peaked at number 45 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart. It was the band's final release before they split with Warner Music Australia and pursued solo careers in June 2004.
