Gayatri (born 23 April 1960[ citation needed ]) is an Indian actress from Punjab who is known for heroine roles in Kannada movies like Auto Raja (1980), Vasantha Geetha (1980), Sukha Samsarakke Hanneradu Sutragalu (1984), Jwaalamukhi (1985) and Shwetha Gulabi (1985). She is married to actor Anant Nag. [1] [2] [3]

Hollywood is a 2002 Indian Kannada science fiction film written by Upendra and directed by Dinesh Babu. It stars Upendra in a triple role as Surendra, Upendra and US 47 along with the Australian actress Felicity Mason as Manisha and Anant Nag. The film was shot entirely in Gold Coast, Australia with few supporting actors and a monkey named Lakshmi, voiced by Ramesh Bhat. The film was also dubbed into Telugu in 2003, retaining the same title.

Naa Ninna Bidalaare is a 1979 Indian Kannada-language horror film directed by Vijay and produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar's sister's husband C. Jayaram. The film stars Anant Nag and Lakshmi. The film was remade in Hindi as Mangalsutra, with Anant Nag reprising his role. Na Ninna Bidalaare is regarded as one of best horror films of all time in the Kannada film industry. Na Ninna Bidalaare is the first movie where Anant Nag and Lakshmi acted together, later the pair become one of the finest onscreen couples in Indian cinema.

In a career spanning over 5 decades, he has appeared in over 270 films. After having had a successful theatre career, he made his debut in P. V. Nanjaraja Urs' Kannada film Sankalpa, and Shyam Benegal's Dakhani film Ankur, with the former seeing theatrical release first, in 1973, and won multiple awards at the 1972–73 Karnataka State Film Awards. In G. V. ...Re is a 2016 Indian Kannada comedy film written and directed by Sunil Kumar Desai. The film has an ensemble cast consisting of veteran actors: Ramesh Aravind, Anant Nag, Master Hirannaiah, Loknath, Shivaram, Tennis Krishna, Ramesh Bhat, Vaijanath Biradar, Sharath Lohithaswa, Suman, G. K. Govinda Rao among others. Harshika Poonacha and debutant actress Suman play female leads in the film. Ace cinematographer G S Bhaskar who has previously worked for Hollywood legends such has Richard Attenborough has handled the camera. Veteran music director Hamsalekha has composed the music for the film. The movie was initially titled Thandana Thandanana. Ananth Nag had revealed that the movie is thematically similar to Badal Sircar's play Ballabpurer Roopkatha.
