Geert-Maarten Christiaan Mol (born 12 October 1983) is a Dutch One Day International cricketer. His brother Hendrik-Jan Mol also plays for the Netherlands cricket team.
Mol made his ODI debut against Ireland at Belfast. Batting at number 8, he came to the crease in the 47th over with his side edging towards an upset. With 6 runs required from the final 3 deliveries of the match, Mol was on strike and facing Kevin O'Brien. He played out a couple of dots balls, the first allowed to go through to the keeper. Needing a six to win off the last ball he could only manage a 4 through the covers meaning that the Netherlands lost by one run.

The 1988 UEFA European Football Championship final tournament was held in West Germany from 10 to 25 June 1988. It was the eighth UEFA European Championship, which is held every four years and supported by UEFA.
Geert Wilders is a Dutch politician who has led the Party for Freedom (PVV) since he founded it in 2006. He is also the party's leader in the House of Representatives, having held a parliamentary seat since 1998. In the 2010 formation of the first Rutte cabinet, a minority government of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) – which he left in 2004 – and Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), Wilders actively participated in the negotiations, resulting in a "tolerance agreement" between the PVV and these parties. He withdrew his party's parliamentary support in 2012, citing disagreements with the cabinet over proposed budget cuts. Wilders is best known for his populist, anti-immigration and criticism of Islam and Euroscepticism (EU), and for his relations to the Kremlin. His views have made him a controversial figure in the Netherlands and abroad. Since 2004, he has been protected at all times by armed police.
The Sint Maarten national football team is the football team of Sint Maarten, the Dutch half of the Caribbean island of Saint Martin, and is controlled by the Sint Maarten Soccer Association. Sint Maarten is not a member of FIFA, and therefore not eligible to enter the World Cup. However, the association applied for FIFA membership in 2016 but was rejected. In April 2022, the Sint Maarten Soccer Association appealed to the CAS against FIFA’s ruling.

Maarten Martens is a Belgian professional football coach and a former player who played as a midfielder, either as an attacking midfielder or winger. He is an assistant coach with the Dutch club AZ Alkmaar. Martens was known for his flair, dribbling and goalscoring ability as well as his precise passing and creativity. He previously played for Belgian clubs Anderlecht and Cercle Brugge, Dutch clubs RKC Waalwijk and AZ, as well as Greek club PAOK. At international level, he has represented the Belgium national team.
Sint Maarten is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Caribbean. The 2010 FIFA World Cup final was the final match of the 2010 World Cup, the 19th edition of FIFA's competition for national football teams. The match was played at Soccer City in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 11 July 2010, and was contested by the Netherlands and Spain. The event comprised hosts South Africa and 31 other teams who emerged from the qualification phase, organised by the six FIFA confederations. The 32 teams competed in a group stage, from which 16 teams qualified for the knockout stage. En route to the final, the Netherlands finished first in Group E, with three wins, after which they defeated Slovakia in the round of 16, Brazil in the quarter-final and Uruguay in the semi-final. Spain finished top of Group H with two wins and one loss, before defeating Portugal in the round of 16, Paraguay in the quarter-final and Germany in the semi-final. The final took place in front of 84,490 supporters, with more than 900 million watching on television, and was refereed by Howard Webb from England.
The knockout stage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup was the second and final stage of the World Cup, following the group stage. Gerard "Geert" Schipper is a road cyclist from the Netherlands. He became world champion in the team time trial at the 1982 UCI Road World Championships together with Maarten Ducrot, Gerrit Solleveld and Frits Van Bindsbergen.
