George John Fitzgerald Ferris (born 18 October 1964) is a former first-class cricketer who played for the Leeward Islands and Leicestershire. [1] A right-arm fast bowler,Ferris took 286 wickets at 25.71 in his career between 1983 and 1990. His cousin Hamish Anthony played One Day International cricket for the West Indies. Ferris was born in Antigua.
Ferris became a regular in the Leicestershire side in the late 1980s when the other overseas Leicestershire player and fellow West Indian Winston Benjamin was on duty playing for the West Indies. Although Ferris played cricket for the Leeward Islands he was never selected by the West Indies due to the strength of the bowling attack the West Indies had at the time. He took his best figures in 1983 in his fourth match for Leicestershire,when he took 7 for 42 and 3 for 62;seven of his victims were out leg before wicket. [2]
Eldine Ashworth Elderfield Baptiste is an Antiguan former professional cricketer. He played in 10 Test matches –all of which resulted in West Indian victories –and 43 One Day Internationals (ODI) for the West Indies,between 1983 and 1990.
The 2005–06 West Indian cricket season includes all domestic cricket matches played by senior teams with first-class status in the West Indies between October 2005 and March 2006,and also the international feats of the West Indies team,who is not scheduled to play any home games during this period but are to play home matches during April,May and June 2006. The season began on 2005-10-03 with the first matches of the one-day KFC Cup and is scheduled to last until 2006-03-19 when England A depart after their tour which will include one-day and first-class matches against the West Indies A team. Winston Keithroy Matthew Benjamin is a former Antiguan cricketer who played 21 Tests and 85 One Day Internationals for the West Indies. He is also the father of world champion athlete Rai Benjamin.
Hamish Arbeb Gervais Anthony is a former West Indian cricketer. As a fast bowling allrounder,Anthony played for both the West Indies and the United States. He also featured for the Leeward Islands and Welsh side Glamorgan.

Millns was a fast bowler,and a lower order batsman who was part of two championship winning sides with Leicestershire,in 1996 and 1998.

Kieran Omar Akeem Powell is a Nevisian sportsman who has played international cricket for the West Indies. He is a left-handed opening batsman.
Ray Ricardo Wynter is a former Jamaican cricketer who played first-class and one-day cricket for Jamaica from 1975 until 1982. A right-handed batsman and right-arm opening bowler,he played 30 matches in all in those formats. In 1983,Wynter participated in a rebel tour of South Africa. As a result,he and all the other players on the tour received a lifetime ban from West Indian cricket. Wynter later emigrated to the United States,and played for the U.S. national team at the 1990 ICC Trophy.
Steven Joseph "Steve" O'Shaughnessy is a former English professional cricketer who played for Lancashire and Worcestershire in the 1980s,and then had a substantial career in Minor Counties cricket with Cumberland. Since retiring from playing,he has become an umpire,and was promoted in December 2010 to the first-class panel for the 2011 season.

Leonard Alphonso Harris was a West Indian cricketer who played for the Leeward Islands between 1958 and 1971. An opening batsman for much of his career,and occasional bowler in his final seasons,Harris played in West Indian first class cricket,as well as facing the MCC team,England and Australia during his career. He played 27 matches,scoring nearly 1,400 runs at 29.04,including a century,and taking 15 wickets at 19.46. He then went on to play lower-level cricket for St. Kitts until 1976,and helped create the first cricket academy in the Leeward Islands.

Nelson Amos Bolan is a Nevisian cricketer who has played for the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler.

A right-arm off-break bowler,Cornwall has played for Leeward Islands cricket team and featured in the line-up for the Antigua Hawksbills in the Caribbean Premier League. In August 2019,Cricket West Indies named him as the Championship Player of the Year. Later the same month,he made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team. He also set the record for the heaviest cricketer to play Test cricket,weighing more than 140 kg. For the Leewards Islands,he is their second highest wicket-taker in both First Class and List A cricket,while only Kieran Powell has scored more than his four List A hundreds for the side.
Alzarri Shaheim Joseph is an Antiguan cricketer who plays for the West Indies in Tests and ODIs. He plays for Leeward Islands and the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in West Indian domestic cricket. He is an all-rounder who is a right-arm fast bowler and a right handed batsman who was selected by the Mumbai Indians franchise as a replacement for Adam Milne for the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. In 2016,Joseph was named Antigua and Barbuda Sportsman of the Year award. During his under-19 career,Joseph helped the West Indies win the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Keacy Uydess Carty is a Sint Maarten cricketer who represents the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman. He made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team in May 2022.
Eustace Jerome Proctor is a former Anguillan cricketer who played for the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket. He was the second Anguillan to play first-class cricket,after Cardigan Connor,and the first to play for the Leewards.
The 2019–20 West Indies Championship was the 54th edition of the Regional Four Day Competition,the domestic first-class cricket competition for the countries of the Cricket West Indies (CWI). The previous edition of the tournament was known as the Regional Four Day Competition before being rebranded by CWI. The competition started on 9 January 2020 and was scheduled to conclude on 5 April 2020. Six teams contested the tournament –Barbados,Guyana,Jamaica,the Leeward Islands,Trinidad and Tobago,and the Windward Islands. Guyana were the defending champions.
