George Frederick Buchan Scott (born 6 November 1995) is an English cricketer who most recently played for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club. An all-rounder,who is a right-handed batsman,and bowls right-arm medium pace. After a schoolboy career at St Albans Boys School,Scott made his first-class debut for Leeds Bradford MCCU against Sussex County Cricket Club in April 2015. [1]
At the end of the 2019 season,Scott turned down the offer of a new contract at Middlesex to join Gloucestershire on a three-year deal. [2] He left Gloucestershire at the end of the 2022 season.
His brother,Charlie,has also played first-class cricket.

In 2014,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,Group B of the 50-over Royal London One-Day Cup and the South Group of the NatWest t20 Blast. Kent also hosted a first-class match at the St Lawrence Ground against Loughborough MCCU at the start of the season. It was the third season in charge for head coach Jimmy Adams. The club captain was former England batsmen Rob Key,who resumed the captaincy after James Tredwell had spent one season in the role. Australia bowler Doug Bollinger signed for the club for the 2014 season. Other new additions to the squad included fast bowlers Mitchell Claydon –who had a load spell with Kent in 2013 –from Durham,David Griffiths from Hampshire and former Kent player Robbie Joseph.

The 2017 Marylebone Cricket Club University Matches were a series of first-class cricket matches played between the eighteen County Championship teams and the six Marylebone Cricket Club University teams (MCCU) of England and Wales. Each county side played one fixture against a MCCU side ahead of the start of the 2017 County Championship. Following Leicestershire's match against Loughborough MCCU,bowler Charlie Shreck was found guilty of using obscene language or gestures. This was Leicestershire's fifth fixed penalty in 12 months,resulting in them being deducted 16 points for the 2017 County Championship season.
