"German" peaked at number 37 on the ARIA Singles Chart and number 26 on the New Zealand Singles Chart, and received a nomination for Most Performed Hip Hop / Rap Work at the 2021 APRA Music Awards.
Tommy Faith of Triple J Unearthed said of the song: "These boys have a serious future ahead of them if they can keep dropping heaters like "German". The beat puts them in a different lane to plenty of the blossoming drill artists coming through right now and it’s the perfect oil slick for them to flow over." [2]

They are currently signed to Melbourne record label Illusive Sounds, and are managed and booked by label co-founders Adam Jankie and Matt Gudinski. Bliss n Eso have released seven studio albums which include three number 1 debuts on the ARIA Charts. It features guest performances from labelmate Mase and label boss Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs; all three performers co-wrote the song with Stevie J, who also co-produced it with Combs. "Mo Money Mo Problems" contains a sample and an interpolation of "I'm Coming Out" by Diana Ross, hence Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers are credited as songwriters; the sampled portions are heard in the production, while the hook is interpolative and performed by Kelly Price in an uncredited appearance.
